Suggs and Barnes will both be great rookies. Both showed good intangibles that lead to winning basketball! Would have been happy with either player!

Suggs 30min, 24pts/22fga, 2oreb/7dreb, 1ast/2to, 2st/3bk, 4pf
Barnes 30min, 18pts/18fga, 5oreb/5dreb, 5ast/1to, 2st/1bk, 2pf

22fga for Suggs....no other magic even had 10. He likes to shoot that's for sure.

What’s really impressive is dude got better the later the game went. All these others guys are holding Their shorts gasping for air. Meantime, Suggs could go for 4 more quarters and playing 100% still. Sooooo impressed. This is why he clutch

Suggs protecting the rim out there as a guard.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

suggs is gonna blatantly lead a team as a pointguard and be all star caliber. No brainer pick without the risk but we made the scottie choice. if scottie can increase his scoring ability which will be hard given how he looks attempting shots off the dribble they can be comparable impact wise.

Suggs looked really good, easily the best player out there tonight.

Honestly Barnes and Suggs will both have great careers. Elite wings with size are my preference thouugh

Suggs is legit but I’m very happy about Barnes

Looking just at the statline would be doing Suggs a disservice. He has that "it" factor and it's obvious.

Yeah, I was starting to come to grips with being ok with Barnes, but now this game. You can just envision Suggs as a Raptor, fitting in with Fred, playing Raptor D, distributing, doing a bit of everything. NBA ready right now.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Probably should have shot 30 times considering the scrubs he’s playing with. If I was a Magic fan I’d be fine with Suggs taking all of Anthony’s shots.

Suggs looks good on D and getting to the rim, but he's got tunnel vision today. Let's see if it's just one game or if it's a real problem.

A good leadership IMO, nobody else on the Magic was doing **** so he turned it on in the 2nd half.

Suggs was cool. Wasn't transcendent like Green yesterday. Happy with Barnes.

Obviously just Summer League but looks like Barnes and Suggs should've been the top 2 picks.
