Anyone who says that we lost the ability to develop players needs to watch the improvements Scottie and Dalano have made since summer league. They are so much more confident and are better now as players.

As crazy as it sounds i think people are underestimating how great Barnes has been so fast, i never imagined him having this much scoring potential. To me he looked like a player who might reach 20ppg eventually at best but provide rebounding, playmaking and defense. Now he looks like a player who can dominate offensively in the mold of Kawhi but with much better playmaking. That's superstar potential. The only player i might trade him for is Jokic or Mobley

Better thumbnail on this one.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

He's already averaging 15 ppg while being like the fourth option as a 20 year old rookie, he's gonna average more than 20 ppg at his peak.

No doubt he will but the coming into the season nobody predicted this kind of scoring output. Mind you he's not the focus of others teams so he's getting his points pretty easily. But now im convinced after seeing him score in so many different ways that we have a 25+ppg scorer on our hands

best PER amongst rookies. 3rd best PER on team (Pascal, Fred) already ... best field goal percentage amongst Starters (exl Birch)... 3rd Best 3pt % on team, and just gets better each game ... leader in rebounds AND Blocks, ... seriously ... where will he be by season's end? ...

I think Scottie and Fred are starting to play well together also. They’re starting to find each other, and I’m hoping Fred is appreciating getting the ball when he’s open from Scottie on those 3’s

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Barnes now leads Mobley in points, assists, steals, FG%, 3pt%, TS%.

The shooting is such a surprise especially considering he's taking more difficult shots than Mobley who is mostly scoring off open 3s and dunks/layouts created by others.

The gap between Barnes and Mobley offensively is greater than the gap between them defensively.

The speed at which Scottie Barnes is growing inseason is ridiculous. I can't remember the last time I saw something like this.

Indeed. And he makes his teammates so much better while still being one of the true great superstars of this generation.

Kia Rookie Ladder.
No other heavy-minutes member of the Class of 2021 is touching Mobley’s personal W-L mark – the Cavs are 17-8 when he plays, compared to Barnes’ 11-15. Ditto for his plus/minus, which at 127 has more than lapped No. 2 Chris Duarte’s 51.

Even after Brooklyn's game last night, still playing catch up to Mobley. Mobley is literally the modern day Tim Duncan.

I really don't care about the rookie of the year award other than it would be nice personally for Scottie, but Mobley has a huge advantage in terms of Allen anchoring the backline. When Allen hasn't play this season, they've lost all 3 games by a combined 31 points. In the one game Mobley was on his own, he was a huge minus and was 0-11 from the field.

I hope Mobley wins. I think Scottie would use it as extra motivation.

Anyone who says that we lost the ability to develop players needs to watch the improvements Scottie and Dalano have made since summer league. They are so much more confident and are better now as players.

the guy's reaction, on the Nets bench, after that pull up 3 is even more spectacular

He was Scottie's teammate in highschool.
