You need a combo of their offence and our defense to have a shooting night like this. Portland (specifically Dame) have been pretty bad this season.

It really does feel like we get wrecked by the three ball every game, the defensive gameplan just isn't working.

Our defensive scheme in an era where the 3 point ball has never been more relevant is to let the opposite team have clean looks at the 3.

What a masterclass plan.

The blazers are such a bland team, they been on the treadmill for a decade and ugly scrub McCollum acting like he hit a three in the finals

Siakim needs to gtfo,. I'd trade him for JV at this point guy has a terrible attitude and plays no defence. .

I think Pascal is tired
WaltFrazier wrote:We had it to 7 there dammit. Pascal's defense is not good. It's a maxim in high school ball - don't reach in.

Pascal's missed layup before, and Svi's, are hurting us now. 4 points missed and momentum killers

Like we haven't won a game with this guy on the floor. I just don't like what I see defensively from our unit with him.

I can't quite figure it out. I'm not sure his offense outweighs his defensive issues.

He's like a pylon out there, he's a net negative on defense. His selfish offense and his non existent defense is hurting this team.

Lol at people acting like dame isn’t a superstar offensive guard.

With 7 minutes left.

Raps playing like turnstiles right now but still, they've clawed back from deeper holes.

Portland with a TS% of 70% right now.
I think Detroit was in the high 60's as well.

Our team defensive rating which was 13th a few games back is tanking hard.

I'm not adept at identifying what we need to change schematically but obviously something has to change.

Pascal's defense has been bad. They need to tie his hands behind his back in practice so he learns how to play defense with his feet. Dude is reaching on every play

Giannis also has a couple inches height and probably 20-30 pounds on him that allows him to overpower his opponent...that makes a world of difference.

Giannis wasn't Giannis his rookie year either

Pascal needs to be traded. Having him is redundant at this point

It's appropriate that on a night our defence is broken, the radio feed is now broken too.
