They did pick a direction. Standing pat and adding at the margins. They're trying to be competitive with Fred and Pascal leading it.

Picking mediocrity isn’t choosing a direction

I doubt we try and get another pick. Waiting for UDFA's for two way players.

He's the 4th pg on that team, for the moment at least. Sucks

Lots of good talent still on the board.

Still think Miller is a much better prospect than Precious?

Think you’re confusing him with Kuminga.

There might be some talent left, but all these good players left on the board are making me hungry. We gotta turn some of our assets into younger assets. Houston is building one hell of a package for a superstar, while we sit and wait.

Thats a pretty poor direction, that team missed the playoffs and your "control" (value) of OG and Pascal is further lowered.

on the other hand it will also be so satisfying if he outplays cade or ivey. sasser isn't bench fodder he has too much pride and talent to ride an NBA bench

Picking mediocrity isn’t choosing a direction

Their decision is this team is better than they showed. They essentially said it's was a coaching problem. They're betting that 2021-2022 Raptors are who they can be again or better. Raptors won't rebuild or retool at this point.
