Don't see Washington moving Kispert for RJ. Holmes' deal isn't awful he's decent/serviceable in limited minutes. Going from 9 top 6 pretty much gets Toronto Maluach who they want or take a flyer on Bailey if he drops or one of Tre Johnson or Fears.

I don't see Washington putting that much stock in RJ who doesn't fit with Poole

I have to think the Raps’ supposed interest in KD has to be contingent on their belief that acquiring Giannis is very realistic. KD alone doesn’t make sense with the rest of the roster’s timeline. But maybe Giannis would only agree to Toronto with the condition that they have or are adding KD, and KD is only open to Toronto with the expectation that Giannis will be joining him?

Houston traded Jalen Green and Brooks for SF Durant. What do people think about Cam Whitmore's potential?

Trade Ochai Agbaji and cash for Cam Whitmore?

PG Holiday / Reed
SG Amen - Agbaji - Jeenathan Williams
SF Durant - Agbaji
PF Jabari - Tari
C Sengun - Jabari - Landale

I think you meant 'Cam Johnson'? We don't need a Cam Thomas on this team.

Now that Houston has Durant Jabari Smith is fighting Steven Adams Durant Sengun and Tari Eason for minutes. I think he’s the perfect buy low guy for Toronto and fits perfectly

For

Jabari Smith

If he becomes somewhere in the realm of Brook Lopez then it’s a huge win and a perfect fit with Barnes up front

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45545025/nba-draft-2025-five-trades-shake-first-round

Bulls add Barrett, Raptors get ... potential Giannis flexibility

Chicago Bulls get: G RJ Barrett
Toronto Raptors get: F Patrick Williams, G Jevon Carter, No. 12 pick

The Bulls would, in the 25-year-old Barrett, add another 20-point scorer to their young lineup and in doing so move on from Williams, the 2020 fourth overall pick who has regressed offensively after signing a five-year, $90 million deal.

The upside for Chicago is that it should get far more nightly box-score production, especially in terms of scoring, from the Canadian southpaw, aiding the Bulls' 20th-ranked offense.

On the flipside, the Raptors -- who have thrived developing young, rangy wings over the years -- get to work with Williams, still just 23, with fewer expectations.

Williams' salary is significantly smaller than Barrett's $25 million, which matters as the team is set to pay Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram and Immanuel Quickley a combined $142 million next season alone.

What will be worth watching is whether Toronto selects a player with the No. 12 pick, or kicks it down the road to load up on future picks instead.

The latter wouldn't be all that surprising, particularly if the Raptors want to stay flexible to be a team in the running for a potential megadeal for Giannis Antetokounmpo, should he request a trade. -- Chris Herring

Try and make a play for Giannis
Barnes + Dick + Walter + 9th Pick + 1 Draft Pick for Giannis
Sign Brook Lopez

If that works out....
IQ for Jamal Murray

Murray / Shead
RJ/Agbaji / Lawson
Ingram / Agbaji / Lawson
Giannis / Mogbo
Yak / Lopez / Mogbo

Our backcourt might be a little weak on D, but both should be able to create a lot of openings for BI and Giannis in the PnR/player movement.
Might be nice to sign another younger big who can shoot a 3, maybe resign Boucher?

Dallas has extended Gafford and will also have Flagg added to frontcourt - how about Lively for Agbaji.

I would trade Dick and Agbaji for Lively.

What about RJ and Agbaji for Michael Porter Jr. ?

Trying to get Porzingis to the Raps.

Vucevic to the Celtics for cap relief, we send Chicago RJ, Chicago sends the Kings (lol) Lonzo for two minimums, one of which goes to Boston. Couple second rounders from Kings/Celtics go the Bulls.

Although the more I think about it the only interest Chicago may have in RJ is likely to dump PWill's contract on us, but who knows.

If healthy, you keep Jak and Barnes' minutes apart as much as possible. You want spacing lineups of a modern offense and that means Porzingis starts with Barnes. The playoffs tells you all you need to know.

Could play them together. Have a jumbo starting lineup. Cap Zinger's minutes at 28 mins per game.

Only if Chicago at #12 would be able to draft one of Queen or Maluach.

Boston trades: #28 and Porzingis
Boston gets: Nikola Vucevic

Toronto trades: RJ Barrett an #39
Toronto gets: Kristaps Porzingis and #28

Chicago trades: Nikola Vucevic
Chicago gets: RJ Barrett and #39

Toronto would be drafting Hansen Yang with #28.

Seen a more homeristic deal for Toronto which was Dieing and Topic plus #15, #24 and 2027 Denver first for Ochai and #9. Reason they gave was OKC really want Noa Essengue or Boyles or Bryant and feel they are gone at #15.

If Toronto was offered that I don't see Masai saying no
