No, really. It's a place he's never been. You can't use it for arguments sake.

Stupid is as stupid writes.

It's called fudging numbers.

He gives 100% for 33minutes, then we add Per36...now he's at 113% Magic!

You really cant see why people have an issue with you saying "20 ppg won't be enough" when your pulling that number from shortened pre season minutes?

Why not use career averages?

Why not use career averages?

Why not use the last 6 years where he averages 23 ppg?

Man It feels good to have a first option on the team that can create their own offense. It's refreshing to see.

Especially for crunch time. Since Kawhi and Demar weve had Siakam, Scottie, FVV, OG. Its going to a fun season.

For the 60 games he's going to play, Ingram should have pretty significant impact for us. He's not a first-tier guy, but like, it's super nice to have someone who can score in so many different ways at even league-average efficiency. The fact that such is an upgrade for us is a SHADE depressing, but at his best, he's also better than that. So there's some hope in that vein, you know? Ingram's a good player. When he can stay healthy, he's been a second-tier guy.

His biggest issue is availability, because otherwise, he's a pretty good player. And he's fun to watch.

Just be nice to have an actual shooter with the ball.

Very nice to have basically all of what he brings, honestly.

Just 6 months back, people hated this trade. Now everyone is all glowing and hyped.

Toronto has been lacking an alpha scorer since Kawhi.

The issue now is our front court scoring is a bit weak. Jakob is great for close-in buckets, but Scotties offensive deficiencies make our 4 and 5 not a strong inside scoring threat. Upgrading the front court scoring should be a priority.

Quickley continues to play a bit streaky.

hes playing with teammates for first time and you need to build chemistry, hes also coming off injury, but he looks good and decent enough on defense

He needs to shoot more 3s. He's probably the best shooter in the starting line up. I like how RJ is playing off him and Ingram needs to find him and IQ more.

Barnes and Ingram should also build a 2 man game. They are pretty much our forwards. Including CMB we are set there for a long time.

Very impressed by him but every time he comes down with a rebound or bumps into someone I wonder if this is where the next injury happens. We really need McKechnie to do his magic and keep this dude healthy.

Take comfort that McKechnie has been overseeing his strength and conditioning for 8 months now.

I don't think anyone is really disputing what Ingram is when healthy, it's his durability that is the concern.

2023 he averaged 25ppg on 49%fg and 39%3fg...that's fantastic...but he only played 48 games. Last year he only played 18 games. In 2022 he only played 55 games.

At 27 years old, he's just entering his prime, just need him to stay on the floor.

Our frontcourt I'm hoping can be a bit improved with CMB and Mamu off the bench if they can both contribute...we'll see if they can be consistent rotation players.

Thought it was a brilliant acquisition then... and still do. He's the true star on this team.

I haven't paid specific attention to his ability to stay in front of his man or rotate/ help on defense, but generally overall, I have been happy with what I have seen. He's been better than expected.

He is great at getting deflections & picking off passes because of those crazy long arms. He is also a decent rebounder and shot blocker. He is a lot more comfortable with being physical than I ever expected, which is a pleasant surprise.

There are a lot of intangibles there. He brings a lot more to the table than just shooting/ iso scoring.

I remember BI getting some blocks rotating over as the last line of defense or the help man. Barnes BI and Jakob is a lot of length
