Davis will develop the mid-range and if we were to get Barnes he'll stretch the defense. They'll fit together beautifully with DeMar if that's how it works out.

Again I don't cling to my opinions especially when its been proven wrong! I have no ego when it comes to finding the right players for our team. Simple.

I also said Kyrie Irving is the guy I wanted the most and that hasn't changed BTW.

I respect that. I think the point I was trying to make is that none of us has a basis to develop an informed opinion prior to even seeing a guy play at the college level.

I agree with you on both Kyrie and Kemba Walker, who many are seriously underestimating.

What is your rationale though, given that you like him? It sounds like your being influenced by where he's projected in mock drafts.

With a top 5 pick it is ALWAYS best player available. If it comes down to it one of Amir or Davis can be moved for another piece. You don't pass on blue-chip talent because you think you have a need elsewhere, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

He was taking about getting a late first rounder to draft Kenneth Faried. I wouldn't trade Amir or Ed Davis to give playing time to a late 1st round pick.

In a draft like this I would take him 5th. There are no standout prospects in the entire draft, you guys act as if there are tons of players better than him. As it is right now a foul prone, rail thin, no post move having C is ranked 2nd! That should tell you something.

Kemba is a gamer, he will succeed at the next level mainly because his strengths translate extremely well in the NBA. Speed and shot making ability are always great assets in the NBA

Turns out Tristan Thompson wants to play in the NBA.
