I say with your Miami pick, look at a pure shooting 6th man like Miller (Kentucky) or if Marshall comes out and is there with the Heat, take him and RUN!!

What Miami pick?

The scenario seems quite rare. Only NOH has two picks likely to both be in the lotto, both of which may be able to net one of Barnes/Lamb/MKG AND a PG Teague/Kobango

The only way it seems feasible for the Hornets and Raps to make a deal is if Toronto gets a higher pick than NOH and is willing to deal that player for the above 2.

In a scenario where Toronto gets the number one pick, it's going to be hard to turn down Anthony Davis, so I don't think you trade down in that scenario.

In my opinion, only in a situation where Toronto gets exactly the 2nd pick and NOH is out of the top 3, they have 4 and 13 or something, would both teams be viable trading partners.

Then TOR can deal Drummond (likely) for a shot at the combo mentioned above.

However, if Toronto doesn't have a shot at Drummond with their pick then I think it's a moot point.

So while the scenario sounds interesting it's kind of a moot point due to the extremely remote possibility of the exact scenario playing out above.

I think there are many more possible trade options out there...

Assuming Raps picked #1 or #2 and the AD's are the top guys available and someone really wanted them bad. You just gotta look at rosters to see what would be worth doing.

NOH you already mentioned them. If it was kidd plus second pick I would trade in a heart beat
Cleveland has Irving
Detroit has knight
Sacremento has Rubio
Washington has Vesely (wall too good to include in list)
Charlotte has a couple pieces as well.

Really comes down to perceived Value. If by draft night we end up in top two but really like MKG or Barnes we could do a move and end up with two pieces of the puzzle.

I know some posters will hate this idea as they think we need a 1a superstar to win.

Personally I think our best option is the Detroit route. Super depth with great D

If you get physical with him, you can get great position on Davis. That speaks to his lack or strength and base. The latter I would worry about the most.

Fact is, even when guys get position on Anthony Davis, he's still able to alter or challenge their shots at the rim. His opponent has been shooting at a much lower FG% whenever they're up against him which is all needs to be said about his defense. If you don't think an 18 year old can strengthen his base, you're out to lunch there.

He's always the tallest prospect on the court playing with an isanely talented roster.

Davis has not been that impressive to me. The adulations usehered his way are premature. MKG looks to be the best NBA prospect on a team thats full of them. If anything, MKG is the one player who's skill is held back the most playing on that stacked squad.

January is coming, its time to get serious about this scouting stuff. MKG > Davis

so its our thread that you come to troll now, first trolling at cavs thread now here lol.

Lamb is on fire. To the rim and then two straight 3s.

Drummond pursuing rebounds, looks special.

Dude looks smooth.

LMAO @ the guy who said he wouldn't trade the #1 pick for two top-5 picks because of Davis. I see at least four guys who i think will have better careers than A. Davis. This draft is LOADED.

My Big Board is coming soon.

How tall is Drummond? I thought he was a 7 footer when I didn't know much about him.
