Sorry.
I just looked at the figures

Expect a big trade from the Raps

Kleiza amnesty

Calderon, Derozan, Davis or Johnson
can be traded

Mark my words:
Dont be suprised if you see Bargnani in a trade that Colangelo cannot refuse

Gray will be 10-11 minutes per game (maybe less), next year.

He's a good player in terms of being big and tall but if there's any kind of rotation on defense or he has to contest a jump shot, he has problems. We didn't even play him against some of the faster teams in the league last year.

You can tell the only reason he started playing basketball was because he was 2 feet taller than everybody else in his grade.

I really like Gray as a second or 3rd string Center..

I think he had an underrated part in our defense a lot of what he brings doesn't show up
on the stat sheet. He clogs the lane and alters a lot of shots with his size. He sets great hard
picks and is a good rebounder only problem is like Amir he has trouble staying out of foul trouble.

Gray is good value for what he brings would have been nice to have Kaman, Camby, Thompson
etc lets just hope Valanciunas is as good as advertised.

C - Valanciunas/Amir Johnson/Gray
PF - Bargnani/Ed Davis/Quincy Acy

Is the Bigs depth chart unless there is a trade

You know Casey is playing him over them. And I don't know how they expect to make it to the playoffs with that.

We're going for 9th. Unless there's a big trade for an Iggy or Gay-type, I don't want the playoffs this season. I want that traded draft pick to be used in a weak draft year.

As for Gray, he's alright but needs occasional motivation. In the Laker game this year, he started off crap until Magloire came in and showed him how it's done. Gray was great the rest of the way.

I'd say Mags for big man coach, but I'm not sure he can relate to how JV plays the game.

He sucks on defense, but rebounds with the best of them and throws his body around like a mad man.

Anyone else watching the Raps/Suns game on RapsTV? Jose just passed the ball to Gray on a fast break.

2/5M is good for a role player, every team needs a big body to soak up fouls, rebound and set hard screens.

Gray is a 4ppg/6rpg center for $2.5 million a year.

Asik is a 3ppg/5rpg center for $8.3 million a year.

Can't see why some think Gray is a bad option.

Gray was horrawful for the first 10 games. he had fumblehands.

after that, the only things about his game that i hated:

1. dude never dunks the ball when in close
2. his free throw shooting is inexcusable

Not the "rim-protector" that Casey covets but Gray's a big man that knows how to play. Bit of a poor-man's Kaman. We needed a starting 5 on the cheap and that's what we got. I wonder if Mags will be brought back as well...

Amnesty Amir Johnson. Kleiza will be kept as he likely has chemistry with Jonas and will help him make his transition to the NBA. Gray signing clutter the front court.

Amnesty Amir Johnson.

That is one thing I wouldn't do. He plays 2 positions and is a hustler. Not a chance.

Gray is a solid re-sign. He's moderately productive and pretty cheap. That fills out the roster for now.

What we need now is a talent consolidation trade.

Umm, have you seen his contract? You don't pay that kind of money to scrubs. You can get similar impact from Quincy Acy for < $1 mil. If anyone is going to amnestied, it is definitely Amir.

If this team really is serious about the post season this upcoming season - Gray better see limited action! I am still hoping they can bring in a center capable of playing 20 minutes a night if needed.
