They lost IT, Frye, Crowder, Rose, and Shump

And gained Clarkson, Nance, Hood, and Hill.

Rodney Hood is a good pickup but I don't see how that dramatically improves their situation?

Jae Crowder is technically the superior defender who just happens to be having a porous season.

Hood puts the ball in the basket and Crowder does not. The refs play the defence for cavs.
