It's actually really bad imo. All the stoppage of plays because guys can't be physical with cutters is ridiculous. Steph wasn't getting a ton of calls last night but this helps out guys like him the most. Unbelievable. If you can't be physical with him off ball then there is literally no half decent strategy to stop him

this happens every year at the beginning then it smoothes out and refs calm down

the adductor injury is a groin injury and those have tough recoveries. never know when it might flare up randomly

There is a new "Freedom of Movement" rule though they are enforcing this year. And that won't change until at least next year (if at all). So I don't know if the refs will calm down as you say. Guys will have to play differently on defense. It's going to be a shoot out most nights IMO.

who knows. his injury may be less severe so their opting for the non-surgery route and seeing how things heal

just important to have this info in case Raps/Delon decide to get surgery
