I have absolutely zero issues with how Isaac handled this situation. He is his own man and even discussed it with his teammates in which they respected his decision.

It's really sad that he just got injured though. Its looks to me like he'll be out for at least a season, wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Isaac is injured in a blowout win.

**** it's his bad knee with the brace. He just planted wrong. :(

You hate to see this... But why was he in the game with 10 minutes to go and 30 POINT LEAD! :nonono:

Really sucks to see this. I was excited to see what he would become worth his dpoy upside and who knows what offensively. Really sucks for magic fans who aren’t allowed to have nice things.

For us this basically guarantees an easy 1st round match up assuming we hold 2nd

I hate to see this for the player - I sincerely hope there is a recovery to be had for him . . . amazing talent.

To the first part of the thread - anyone who can't understand what he's saying isn't working very hard to try and understand it. He's avoiding saying anything inflammatory because he is aware of the mine field he is walking through, while still trying to get his point across. My esteem for this guy shot right up seeing that interview.

No I am not religious - I do have respect for the gravity religion carries for those who explore it with best intention.

Well damn...

Just heard about the injury. Raptors to second round with ease but wish we would see the guy play in a couple weeks.

I guess Isaac won't be standing for the anthem for a while now

Wishing a speedy recovery for the young man and hope this doesn't derail his bright future.

He's such a good young player...but he's so fragile.

This is a story about nothing. No one is upset with this kid, they just asked him about it. No harm in following up with something that's both topical and of interest to people.

People are so sensitive now we can't even ask a question?

This is brutal. Shame he got injured again after just coming off of a major injury. Speedy recovery.

He is worth the risk as a second round pick.

Now you have idiots saying this is karma for Jonathan Isaac for standing during the anthem and not wearing a BLM shirt. Terrible.

Jonathan Isaac was recently asked "do you think black lives matter?"

Why is this even necessary to ask a man of colour? Just to make sure? ...or...

I wonder if teams will see Jaden McDaniels in the same way. He's 6'10 and 185 lbs!

Actually, if you read his quote, he did say he supported BLM.

But even if he didn't, he is entitled to his own beliefs, whether they are right or wrong.
