Those back to back plays where he forgot to get the ball after dribbling lol and was it like 3 straight pulls ups from the 3?

They don't ever call that foul that late in a game..you can get away with contact in the paint in the NBA.

Yep. That pull-up three followed by a garbage pass lead to a quick 5-0 run. We were up 13 before that sequence and the Blazers were reeling. Felt like that swung momentum in their favour. Knew this loss was coming after that moment and we just kept jacking up threes for 5 or 6 straight possessions.

This is an even tougher loss than last night. We badly outplayed the Blazers aside from the last ~6 minutes of the game. And yet again, we were at a clear refereeing disadvantage. Seemed like Portland went to the line on a lot of touch fouls and of course no call at the end.

Feeding a non iso player the ball at the end of games isnt going to end well. Run a play, play by committee, thats this teams strength.
Frustrating to see how the raps are playing in the playoffs and now so far this season. Not enjoyable to watch them force the narrative.

You cant really run plays at the end of games man.

he was. siakam, fvv, boucher have all been better than lowry this season. he's cost us big time in every close game we've been in so far this season.

CJ isn't a superstar.

This tank is gonna be epic. We’re gonna be a 60 win team next season. Cade and a big man with our capspace? GG eastern conference.

I am of the belief that you wait at least 1/4 of the season (20 games) before doing anything.

- Better recognize what assets/weaknesses you have
- See what others have to offer.
- Let other trading partners get injuries or desperation as well for leverage.

Our leverage for a trade right now is no better than it will be in a dozen games. No need to rush anything. But it does seem that something later on is INEVITABLE

Well we’re only 8 games away from 1/4 of the season, with a pretty rough schedule for the next 8. It’s a very real possibility we’re sitting at 4-14 at the 1/4 mark of the season

I've been fairly optimistic throughout this **** start, but yeah I think the seasons over. Sucks because we got talent, just but deep enough, and no natural scorer on the roster.

I'm all for the Lotto pick, But this loss wasn't Pascal's fault. But Bobby Boo showing out. I had doubts about him playing big minutes. But IMO it's clear he's gotta be out there even if he racks up quick fouls.

2-8. And I don't see us winning many of the next 10.

How can their still be anti- tankers?! Can you not see that this team is pretty much one piece away? We are a finals contender if we can get a batman to Siakams Robin

Flol these young guys don't stat check , they fantasy check and think everything is easy.

He should have done that, or he could do that.

Tough but as good a loss as you can have for a team.

Raptors played great 43 out of 48 minutes. Probably a bit of tired legs. Key moment was around the 8 minute mark where Kyle takes a long three, early in the clock followed with the next possession by a bad turnover trying to force a bounce pass to OG. Raptors were up 8 at the start of the sequence, up by 2 by the end. That's the cushion a team needs playing away from home, on a back to back - and sadly the Raptors misused it there.

Happy to see the bench rotation really taking shape. Boucher has been a revelation and I think we continue to get better.
Stanley looks like he's gaining confidence - showing hustle and effort on defense with restraint and reduced tentativeness on the offensive end. He still misses a few rotations. Davis is settling into his 20 minutes a game role. Powell still struggling to make great decisions.

I'm still baffled how the Raptors are continuously called for a disproportionate amount of whistles. - 8 in PFs and - 13 in FTs taken. Are we really fouling that much more than Portland? This is how you keep leads - FTs and fouls that keep the rallying team at a distance and partially why I think the Raptors have blown leads (among other execution issues).
Pretty neat and on the fridge for the real fans:

This is like Casey ISOing DeRozan all over again. The two previous possessions we scored on great team ball and cuts. If it's a close game in the 4th our half court offense is ****. Pure isos or hero ball 3s
