Green so far had the best debut, but our boy for sure is #2 atm.

You are? Wow. How are the kids doing? :D

Someone posted a video somewhere around here earlier today about how Barnes went about choosing the college he'd go to...and basically he eliminated any college that would play him at forward...and committed to FSU because they would let him play the 1. That's the mentality Scottie has...will that be an issue in the future if he doesn't get to play the position he feels like he fits best at?

I'm certainly no expert and I didn't watch the full game today or any of his college games, but you do see that his handle isn't quite tight enough for a Pro PG, right? I think we can agree Fred isn't a traditional PG in the sense that he isn't the ideal playmaker but Scottie sorely lacks several typical PG skills namely tight handles, organizing the offense, etc. I guess he could develop those but I just don't see it. He's a 3/4 moving forward for me. Like a lineup of Barnes, Trent, OG, Pascal, Birch would be disastrous to watch imo in terms of cohesiveness. Throw in FVV instead and suddenly it looks more like a 5 man unit.

Thats just your opinion and to be fair...your no expert and youve never watched him play. I'm just letting you know your wrong and its okay. Its alright.

Mobley is going to take some time, he's not ready for the physicality of the league yet imo

Mobleys gonna rot away at Cleveland. They have all that money invested in Allen and Love and think he's a PF. People are gonna be wondering why they didnt pick Barnes.

Houston nailed this draft. Green is the favorite for ROY. Sengun looked like he’s a future starter in the league. Christopher looked good. Garuba is going to be an NBA player. They killed it.

I've also noticed Precious has a fast second jump too.

I really hope to see Precious in the next game. I like him as a prospect.

This is exactly the direction I was hoping our front office would go for. In a pretty deep draft...we could have traded Pascal and obtained multiple first round picks and set a rebuild in overdrive.

after losing Harden last year, could be a quick turnaround for them with Green/Sengun/Garuba.

We wouldve drafted Scottie at 2 or 3. Only Cade Cunningham we wouldve picked. And thats gonna be an insane matchup for years to come. Cade vs. Scottie.

Who knows, we might build up Siakam's value and maybe get a team to trade their picks next lottery. Then again this year we had a prime opportunity to trade with a win now team in the Warriors. Next year it's probably all garbage teams so they might be less willing to trade for Siakam.

And yours isn't just YOUR opinion? I didn't say I've never seen him play. I said I didn't watch the full game today or any full college games of his. From what I've seen of him, he's not a traditional PG, no. He's not a "1". You can scream it at the top of your lungs if it makes your feel better. It's okay. It's alright. :clown:

If GS still wants Siakam...I'd take Kuminga and Moody in a heartbeat.
