If we dance with Phoenix the only way I do it is if there are extremely favorable conditions regarding the 1st round picks being moved which would ensure we don't end up with dumpster picks. Like if you want to give us 3 first rounders the earliest two will both be unprotected with the ability to defer each of them for 1 year to maximize the chances of them being lottery picks and the latest you can leave protected.

O.G. ain't comin' cheap.

Have you looked at OG’s long term health/durability?

I get that he's not Mr. Iron man himself but his injuries have mostly been flukie. Past appendicitis isn't indicative of anything in terms of long term health. A knee injury requiring surgery is a tad bit scarier.

You do know OG tore is ACL too right? Who knows what his long term health is easier if that's the route you want to go.

Him wanting a bigger role, us prioritizing getting our “point guard” shots, giving him a bigger role. All for what? So he could let us down in the bubble, Tampa Season, and then last year’s collapse vs Philly? It’s a joke.
Thats absolutely not what it came down to.

kind of did, you kept him around knowing he would make sure to get his game off with the opportunities already stretched thin. The time to reconstruct the roster was in the offseason, by them sitting on their hands caused this domino to fall. Knowing the dude was already not happy about his opportunities the front office did nothing about the situation... the only thing they did was go to fred in the offseason and say we need you to play more off the ball in hoped that he would. Well here we are.

Waiting turned out to be the best decision they could've made. OG wasn't worth this much in the offseason.

If we trade OG and sign Fred long term, I will be boycotting all games like the later Bargnani years. Won't even bother watching the highlights.

Why wouldn’t he…..his career at this point is watching the Raptors prioritise the wrong players. Fred gonna ruin this team.

OGs efficiency is down across the board this year.

Watching Fred and Pascal iso into low efficient shots has a tendency to do that

Please trade Fred if OG is going out as well. If we are getting sharpshooters like Cam back our need for Fred is lessened as well.

Fred shouldn't have garbage value like he did a month ago so we should be able to get back some quality pieces and a pick as well, really shore up our team.

Also, I can really see OG on Phoenix. Him and Mikal splitting defensive duties will mean he needs to put less effort on that end and can conserve more energy for O, and playing next to CP3 will elevate anyone's game. He might make the ASG one year there.

CP3 will inflate OG's stats. Can't forget how CP gets guys raises.

How many rings has CP3 gotten his guys?

My first instinct is to trust Masai, but I’m a little worried he’s too attached to Pascal and Fred. We have enough evidence in my opinion that we’re not going anywhere with them as our best players.
Plus aren’t OG and Scottie really close? Ugh

lol if you want to justify OG shooting it poorly on Pascal and Fred, when OGs usage rate has been flat for the past few seasons, then do you.

That injury is the only reason he was available late in the draft. It hasn't been a problem since it happened 6 years ago.

In any case, it's a moot point because this isn't about OG's health, it's about the health of the player we'd be getting in return. Like I said, I like Cam.

I wouldn't mind Maxey as the main piece for OG. As long as there is decent value for a Fred trade.

I think to many people sleep on Maxey on this board.

the best bball we've played is when we launch a bunch of forwards out there, unfortunately we never use our best forwards when we do it.

Sources tell me they just read Nurse's book released several years ago and learned about this stand-off.

Okay so OG hasn't played more than 50 games for the past 2 seasons. OG is alot of things but he's not really known to be super durable.
