Wow Harden finally earning his pay cheque
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

And they won’t change anything. And they’ll lose their next 5...

Cause they’re literally built in our image yet were the same caliber of team despite them being led by 20 year olds.

We pushed our chips in for the nba title and the talent attrition after is part of the reason we are here. The magic have sucked forever accumulated draft capital and are marginally better than the raptors. Seems pretty sad for the magic

Ya out of all the teams to be envious of I don’t think magic are one of them tbh

The in season tournament games have been fun and competitive for the most part.

Even Spurs/Kings went down to the wire.

Also Houston is legit an okay team this year, they won't be an easy win.

Never said I was envious though, just acknowledging how far we’ve fallen.

Almost every single tourney game has been close. The highest paid players really want to win that money so the deep rotation guys can get some serious money.

To be fair, if we tanked hard for 4 years I'd expect to be much better than what the Magic currently are. Don't see any premier prospects on that team. I think they will finish higher than us though. They are in a better position than us.

Man rewatching the game and some of Gradeys decisions were Bruno-esque. He seems completely lost when he puts the ball on the floor.

Maybe he could use some g league time.

I mean if Franz and Paolo aren’t considered premier prospects, then we got none either lol.

Cade 20 points on 21 shots.

It's a hell of a lot of money for a coach, but I'm wondering if Monty wishes he would have just taken less with a well run organization.

Orlando like Toronto struggles with offense and halfcourt offense in general. They have long defenders at every position. I think this path of playing size over conventional play is really tough to win games with unless you are overloaded with shooting like Boston or Golden State.

Good contending teams have two man combos that set the table:
Jokic-Murray
Embiid-Maxey
Giannis-Lillard

Franz and Paolo are great to build around but they need a guard and shooting in general otherwise they are no better than Toronto currently.

I agree, it’s why I always say they’re made in our image. Only difference is instead of having a 30 year old lead their team, it’s a 21 year old haha.

They need a 3 level scoring guard as badly as we do.

I just realized had we traded OG to Memphis for those 3 first round picks or whatever was rumoured we would have their lotto pick this year.

They could still turn it around when Ja comes back but still.

Is Franz/Banchero actually great to build around? I think there is always some confusion when people suggest building around certain players. Building around sounds like that or those players will be the focal points of the team. The reality is neither of those guys are good enough to be built around. They can certainly be important pieces to a team though.

OKC v GSW on now, and Bucks Mavs. Lots of star power, close games.

SGA is so smooth and so good, seeing so much positive commentary about him everywhere lately

Wiggins shot is really off. Hope he gets it back for Paris this summer. He should have played in the FIBA tournament, he'd be sharper now

Im court surfing today and just watching most teams having players that can hit wide open threes makes me sad about the state of the raptors. What went so wrong man

Blatant disregard for shooting.

Return to Toronto Raptors
