Maybe I'm misremembering but I always thought rebrands came with a new era. I'm not sure we're entering one. If we had gotten a top 3 pick then yes, but as is we may just be adding another role player.

Maybe. I think they would’ve done it had we won more games after trading Pascal and OG. But the fact that we floundered and lost games, coupled with the fact that we already brought back the VC era classics doesn’t make a jersey change urgent. It just sucks that we’re stuck with the ugliest jerseys in our history. These are truly horrible.

That’s not how it works. Just because you trade everyone doesn’t signify a need to rebrand. You do it when there’s a new hope for the new era. We don’t have that yet.

I don't get this, the team itself has used purple heavily in their online presence. While I could understand if it were just because they had honoured Vince Carter this season, the Raptor's twitter flat out said this wasn't the last we'd see of the new court, and that we might see the Vince Raptor jerseys again, which is strange because they wouldn't still be honouring him for a second straight season.

Then there's the NBA Draft hat

No other team in the NBA has a hat that uses a color that is not part of their current branding. Yet "Toronto Raptors" is in purple.

There just seems to be a lot of mixed messaging coming from this team, getting people's hopes up.

That would be a good rebranding, blue and white, get aligned with Leafs and Jays. Maybe they're waiting till Ted has fully taken over.

All I want is the red dropped and the dino back.

It can be an updated fresh version of the dino, but every logo since the dinos have been absolutely terrible.

Use the purple. Use the ovo gold. It's not that hard.

My only request is that they get rid of the chevrons. That's it. I don't give a **** what colour scheme or logo they go with after that. I prefer the original purple jerseys; they can slightly modernize them like the Jays did, if they want. But if they want to go with something else, I don't care. Just no more **** chevrons. Chevrons have nothing to do with basketball, or dinosaurs, or Canada. They're **** stupid and ugly and whoever designed this current jersey should feel bad.

I think since Masai came in everything became super minimalistic from the logo to the jerseys. I feel they could do so much more from a design and branding perspective.

I don’t think that tweet was accurate, even if you follow the link to their site they have blank spots for the Raptors jerseys this season.

Been 5 years with the same dark/white/alt uniforms, which is a pretty long time these days. Think there’s definitely a rebrand coming this summer
