Been thinking about this. Silver seems to want to hit big numbers for Amazon next year. All big population teams need to pull viewership so its possible in a conspiracy theory. Toronto can do their share with a big name.

Suns Frps and they also have the ability to swap with the Nets on a few FRPs ....Them picks look more valuble since the Suns look to be falling off a cliff, and the Nets are in a rebuild ....Also add the 10th pick this year...

All valid points, but I wouldn't be too concerned about #3. Realistically, Giannis would probably play a lot of 5 for us and would be one of the best centres in the league. He's seven feet tall, super long and jacked. And I think it's safe to say that Jakob would be extended.

#1 is a valid point, because I'm sure Giannis' relationship with Masai would be a key selling factor. #2 is a bit irrelevant. We just saw Tatum get injured for a year, and it's happened to guys like Klay, Durant, Dame. Assuming we wouldn't completely decimate our depth to get Giannis, this roster could probably win a lot of games with Ingram on the sidelines.

I think it's a safe enough assumption that Giannis would accept a trade here, and would be a lot more willing to come to Toronto than Kawhi was.

I'd be way more concerned about getting beat out by other teams. The biggest issue is that any team that gets Giannis will probably see their own pick lose a lot of value. So teams like Houston, OKC and Brooklyn would have way more valuable picks to trade. Us getting Giannis would depend almost entirely on the Bucks head office loving Scottie.

Can't get greedy....If the Bucks are willing to show interest and they have other teams on the phones you have to offer your best offer off the bat....Or else you lose him...This isn't a 35 year old KD we are talking about here this is a 30 year old FMVP and MVP....Who still has many years in the league....

Barnes is not that good if other teams get involved here....Teams like OKC/Rockets/Spurs have more valuable draft picks than us and maybe they don't have Barnes but they have multiple young players to throw out.....And this is all factoring if Giannis puts us high on his list of teams he wants to go to....Thats the biggest thing...And i don't trust the report unless it comes from a better source...
