You know what's the icing on the cake in this Wallace trade, Hump and JK, run into 2010/2011 financially (player options, Kapono WILL pick his up and Hump might, depends on some factors) so we lose very little flexibility when it comes to the 2010 FA market.

God damn BC, get er Done!

As for marbury, it's not like he can hurt us at the PG position with our back-ups. Say what you can say. He's been on the bench for so long, I'm sure he's itching to play any kind of minutes. The opportunity is there but it's up to him(and God). Although he threatened to play in Italy, playing in Toronto should not be a difference besides the exchange rate.
Due to our current roster, Marbury gives us another scoring option, back up PG,and slashing. Something we desperately need. i would get him for the right price. Sorry but I'm not a fan of Soloman or Roko. Will needs to learn to control himself and Roko needs to be more aggressive on the offense end.
BTW Didn't he play with Sam back in his days with Minnesota?

Agreed.

I wouldn't give up Hump sorely because we'll need his rebounding and hustle.

Joey G, Solomon, Adams and Kapono for Wallace and Morrison. Get er done BC!

Pick up Marbury off waivers, Sin Bonzi for vet minimum

Jose / Steph / Roko
AP / Morrison / Bonzi
Wallace / Moon / Bonzi
Bosh / Bargz / Wallace
JO / Bargz / Hump / Jawai

I would not like Marbury on this team at all, sort of like wanting Mike Tyson to be our head coach. Mike could eat babies on the sideline while Marbury is in the back room having sex with his sister.

omg you cant say you would not do the deal because of hump. Wallace grabs 8 boards a game we wouldnt miss humps trust. Joey g can hold down the PF position against backups. Whats all this love for humphris hes shown he can be good and hes only 23 but still if you have the chance to do this without giving Bargnani you do it without hesitation

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

'the hell? We clearly win the trade with Hump included, and you want to take him out out of the deal and replace with Solomon and Adams? Sorry, that's laughable. This isn't NBA 2K9

actually I wasn't even talking to you but no surprise to see you jump in. Adam Morrison stinks... teams look to attack him whenever he's on the court. He hasn't been the same since he was crying on the basketball court.

Keep that soft loser far, FAR away from my soft Raps PLEASE!!!

You know, I've always been a Marbury hater but this makes a lot of sense to me. For the right price is the key obviously and if he's willing to take a backup role with a smile on his face then he definitely helps us. Besides, if he doesn't, his meltdown would be fun to watch..

Amo is in his third year in the pros. Chances of him getting a nice juicy extension are none. Also, I don't think the Bobcats are interested in keeping him around and no one would really want to trade for him. I can see the bobcats dumping him just so they don't have to resign him next year and waste more money. For us, once we deal Kapono, we will need a shooter, Morrison can come to the court for abt 12-14 mins a game and knock down shats. He is just like Kapono, poor defender, poor athlete, low IQ player. Atleast the guy shoots whenever he touches the ball.

Wallace's 20.8% drawn fouls by taking 57% of his shats from inside is very much needed.

Delfino's predicament in Russia does make this deal even more interesting because he would solidify the SG spot.

Marbury for cheap also solidifies the PG spot.

Jose/Starbury/Roko
AP/Delfino/Roko
Wallace/Moon/Bargnani
Bosh/Bargnani/Wallace
O'Neal/Bargnani/Bosh

Magic 8 ball says things are looking up.

As for Charlotte I do the deal to pair Okafor up with Kris then have Kapono & Morrison open up the floor for Richardson and Felton to create for them.

Nice rumors all around provided Delfino returns to the Raptors. Or if BC can swing Joey for Weaver.

We trade the DREGS of our team (and an arguably SOFTER player in Kapono) for Gerald Wallace and Morrison and we get WORSE? What is wrong with you?

EDIT:

Honestly, Joey Graham, Solomon, Kapono and Hassan Adams are not worth Gerald Wallace. Release Morrison for all I care, but if you think that we're getting worse with THAT trade, you should stop talking about basketball.

How can you put AP ahead of Marbury & Delfino?

Because a fresh AP opens up early leads and is awesome at feeding Bosh in the post

in addition, marbury would be great spark to have off the bench. this way, he can have all the touches he wants without disrupting the starting lineup too much.
#Raptors are 7-1. In 6 of the past 10 seasons, a team that has started a season 7-1 has gone on to win an NBA championship.
