Haha, I thought Shaq's comment was pretty funny. Instead of just choosing a "soft" character to compare him to, he chose RuPaul -- a drag queen. I think it's a pretty creative simile.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

off topic, but I watched RuPaul's biography on (you guessed it) the biography channel. pretty interesting.
I am 36 and know who Rupaul is. if you grew up in the 80's you know who RuPaul is.

in any case, hope Bosh gets motivated by everything he has been through this season. maybe I haven't watched closely, but he seems bigger in his upper body than he did at the start of the year. anyone else get that impression?

This is exactly how Bosh should respond. A lot of truth in both of their comments of course. Bosh needs to grow some and so does the league concerning the calls the so called stars get.

Anyway, poor Bosh, I hope he redeems himself. I don`t get a kick out of our own player getting **** on.

Me neither. I find interesting how last year when Arenas said something along the lines of Jose isn't an all-star the board erupted with indignation and now Bosh an actual all-star is getting crapped on and the board is like "hey how cool and funny Shaq is"

We have such great fans don't we? /sarcasm

I'm personally getting sick of this anti-bosh contingency (headed by Mustard Tiger, who never misses an opportunity to slag bosh), even if you don't like a player you should care about how our team is represented and to me the shaq comments already add to a dismal season.

That was pretty funny. But Shaq has done this to pretty much every player in the league, he's a big mouth who is offensive as much as funny. You can't take anything he says seriously. And he should be calling out our C's, not our skinny ass PF.

That is the beauty of having tools like Mustard Tiger leading the charge. Their credibilty is zero by association.

I don't know man, you can't beat the he suxers, team suxers argument ... and I don't believe in stats, and hypothetical scenerios but somehow god will give us another potential Lebron type of franchise player and if he doesn't work out, its ok we will run him out of town ...

Thats a pretty accurate description of Dhalsim. Bosh is a flaming Vagina at times. He still is weak and thats why he always gets stripped and howls like a girl when he gets hit. Dhalsim needs to get stronger man.
why was hakeem called "the dream"??"

Because it rhymes with 'Olajuwon'.

remember Canadians are just Mexicans with sweaters

you are not going to get calls on arguably the best C to ever play in the NBA

You won't if you don't even try. We seriously need our best player to stop looking up to these other guys. This is not the super skinny Chris Bosh of his rookie year. He's supposed to be a primetime player by now, but he still goes into games respecting the other stars too much, and not respecting his own game.

Funny how he was pissed at the fans for booing him. What does he think now that his peers are punking him??

Clearly things have changed ... like I said in previous threads, losing like a poisons, once it starts it spreads till its infected everywhere ... The Bosh we saw at the beginning of the year is totaly differnet from the one we seeing right now ... He was ready back then but the team wasn't and nobody stepped up with him, he lost faith, team lost faith, and together they spiralled to the bottom ... this team needs to learn to play for each other like they did in 2006/2007 ... but its not going to happen this season ...

Yeah, you will. Shaq just fouled out last game, matter of fact.

And he was in foul trouble our first meeting too.

Truth hurts, son!

Bosh was the one who fired the first shot. Snaq merely responded.

We need to find the audio of this. It would be so much funnier seeing and hearing Shaq say this.

My new thing is to harp on Bosh to drive the net, like Leo says. Right now, the main component of Bosh's offense is his jumpshot. And that would be fine if he was as good a shooter as Dirk. Forget shooting percentages. Dirk basically hits every open shot he takes. To stop him, you have to crowd him.

Bosh misses way too many of his open looks to be a jumpshot artist. He's a good shooter. Just not great. And though he'll get his 20PPG, he's playing into the hands of his opponents.

Oh, and if he does decide to drive late in the game, well of course it's harder because defenses tighten up late in the game, when the other team is not worried about fouling out. You need to put teams into foul trouble early in the game, and then take advantage of that later in the game.
