I don't think Bosh would accept any trade other than to NYK (if Lebron signs there), Chicago (with Rose) or Miami (with Wade). I don't think he'll go to the Lakers because he wants to be the man... and in LA there's just too many other stars, he'd just continue to be a massive vagina.

Bad for who?
The part where we end up taking a pineapple in the dumper with Deng AND Hindrich and give away EVERYTHING that's potentially exciting about the Raptors AND clear more cap room for the Bulls.

You know...other than that, its ok.
I can't believe you are serious with this. So, we get Deng (better than any SF on our team), Hinrich (better than any PG on our team), Noah (one of the better defensive Cs in the league) AND the 17th pick for Bosh (a FA), Weems (a dime a dozen wing), Derozan and Hedo (a steaming pile of ....).

At this stage shipping Hedo will cost us assets. Broken down I see the trade like this:

Bosh roughly nets us Deng and Noah. Although the Bulls aren't likely to move Noah.

Hedo, Weems and Derozan net us Hinrich and the 17th

If Toronto were able to get this kind of return for Bosh while shipping out Hedo, it would be unbelievable.

No thank you.

Just because Weems is on a min. contract doesn't mean we can just throw him away. I personally believe he has great potential and plus, why ruin a good thing with Amir, Jack, Weems and DeRozan?

DeRozan in 2-3 years >>>>> Deng, Hinrich combined.

The more I think about it, the more I think this is the most reasonable trades for both sides.

To Bulls:
Chris Bosh
Jose Calderon

To Raptors:
Luol Deng
Kirk Hinrich
Joe Johnson
17th pick

Lets face it: 1) Dumping Calderon along with Bosh S/T is the most likely scenario that would happen in order to get rid of Calderon even though it would actually decrease the return of simply a Bosh S/T. and 2) Bryan isn't going to rebuild. He is trying to build up another playoff team. The bulls might do this trade because it got rid of two of their biggest salaries.

Deng can fill up the SF position after we get rid of Turk, and Hinrich although is also a bad contract, at least he plays superior defense compared to Calderon's.

Um, huh? Bulls trade Joe Johnson? Impossible.

How do you say he wants to be the man in one sentence, then say he only wants to goto teams with Lebron, Rose or Wade? He'd play 2nd man to all that you listed there, just like he would in LA except he'd have the deepest team and best chance for a ring there.

I'm shaking my head at you guys here.. I know the season is over but get your heads back in the game ;)

What's the consensus here on either:

Kaman/Baron for Bosh (S&T)/Hedo

or

Kaman/Baron/'12 first from MIN (Unprotected) for Bosh (S&T)/Jack

Why would any team give up anything to get Bosh in a S&T?

Because not all teams can sign him outright. They are not UNDER the salary cap, which is what is needed to sign free agents. LA is over the salary cap, meaning the only way of obtaining Bosh is through a trade with the Toronto Raptors.

Since when does Weems bring any kind of defense to the court anyway?

With the Clippers, any deal where we get Blake, Deandre+#8, or #8+the unprotected Minny 1st I'd be ok with.

1) teams above the cap.

2) to give him the truly max contract he will demand (sixth year 30 mill).

3) to create/retain capspace.

4) for teams under the cap, to make sure the deal gets done.

This Minny rumour smells like BS to me so I am putting in here rather than starting a new thread. I think there are a lot of potential trades like GS's and Minny's that are just not doable because Bosh will nix em.

Bosh is dreaming...he sure can not carry a team...in no way he is nb.1 but addition...Like it or not Chris :)

The minny rumour may be more in line with a 3 way S&T

Tor gets: Jefferson, Brewer, #17

Chicago gets: Bosh, Weems

Minnesota gets: Deng, Gibson

I'd keep Brewer and Weems out of it, and get Asik back from Chi. Personally I'd also want to deal Jefferson for a lotto pick or young talent--- an Al/Bargs frontcourt is going to be worse defensively than what we have now. Hopefully we can grab George with #13, Bradley with #17.
