TJ took a nice mid range shot but then come back picking up his 4th foul with 11 minutes to go, tsk tsk damn.

Renardo is actually extremely talented.
He just has nothing between his ears, an attitude problem and a weight problem.

I wonder if he means pre knee injury or after? I certainly see a comparisson to the latter, which isnt great but I suppose that's the gist of his article.

This place is insufferable.

He reminds me of Eddy Curry. Fat, talented, fat, lazy, doesn't play defense, and fat.

He's very athletic. Used to be a good sprinter which isn't easy at 6'8"'

Dang he just missed the 3, stole the rebound, missed the runner off the steal, got his own board and barely missed the tip. Three missed shots on the stat sheet but a great all-around hustle play.

1 for 8 shooting at 3pt yikes but he did a solid job in getting points off transition and scoring in the paint. I liked that dribble drive and doing a tough layup, wish he does those more. Glad the team got a floor general like Marshall. Really really glad.

Re: Official Raptors 2011 NBA Draft Thread, Part 2
Barnes leaves with 17 pts, 4 assists and 3 boards. Only shot 7-19 but a lot of them were open 3's that he settled for in the first half that he usually drains. He took it to them late in the second half with three emphatic dunks and continued to play great defense.
He's really found his place on the team and they're clicking right now. We will learn a lot about him as the year goes on and his role continues to develop. I've been watching Barnes for a LONG time and he still hasn't given me a reason to believe that he wont at least be a good pro.
He doesn't play flashy or try to do too much but IMO will eventually be an extremely efficient offensive player. He reminds me of a Tim Duncan type guy who is already talented but will always show up prepared, eager to work hard and learn new things.
Every team needs a guy who will do the little things that lead to wins, even if they go unnoticed. If you're lucky enough to have your best player doing it then the whole team usually buys into it.
There's no denying his solid 6'8" frame, super-long arms, nice jumper, athleticism and great head on his shoulders. For someone who already has a complete game it's scary that he still has time to learn and get better.
I'm still on board with Kyrie but if HB proves to BC in the rest of the reg season, tournament and workouts that he's the best player available when we draft I wont be complaining.

I know some ppl will hate me for saying it but I'd rather go with Barnes then Terrence Jones if they're both available. Something about Jones' game just doesn't seem like it will translate at the NBA level...idk if he's really only a tweener cuz he's in college ball; in the NBA he's just an average sized SF and if that's the case he's certainly not skilled enough to play there imho.
