I see Marcus Camby with Davis as his best case scenario and we need a go to scorer. In fact, I'm not sure that Davis is going to be better than Val going forward and there's a very good chance he's not going to be as good. So I wouldn't pick him as a redundant piece when there's perfectly good options at other positions. It doesn't make sense at all to take Davis as a 1st overall pick.

I think Barnes is going to be an all-star quality SF and he can be our 1st option when we're a playoff team.

We will have a better team foundation with a lineup of Demar/Barnes/Bargnani/Val than Demar/?/Bargnani/Davis with Val coming off the bench maybe.

This is how Im seeing it right now also.

Barnes can create his own shot and is definitely more NBA ready. Plays with maturity on the court. Hes the perfect complement to Bargs and Val at the 3.

I havent seen a lot of the other prospects yet, but between Davis, MKG, Beal and Barnes, Barnes is a much better fit for this team. He reminds me of a bigger, more durable (hopefully) Brandon Roy.

If we somehow won the lottery, Id consider offers.

solid pic, except there is no way Chad (jr. or sr.) ever played any sports...

That's a picture of Chris Ford. Who ash k seems to be obsessed with.

Jose 2.0 with better leaping abilities
Great shooter, can shoot over smaller PG in collage. Can play pick and roll.
Lack of explosiveness, hardly getting by his man.

he's an undersized shooting guard. nice college player, maybe a bench guy in the NBA

I'm really hoping people here are thinking about picking Beal if we get 8-10 picks and not lower. The guy can flat out shoot, and his a solid defender but in no way we should draft him from 1-7.

Beals wingspan looks huge

Well it's showing 6'7" on DX, which certainly isn't bad for someone standing 6'4". I just like the freakish dudes like Wade, so it's why Lamb really intrigues me more then anyone in this draft. Beal definitely looks like that 16, 4, 4 type of guard I've been craving for on this team.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I think he could be gone by 5 if MKG is not declaring.
I doubt he drops to 8 as he stands 6'5 (6'4.5).

His basketball IQ (court vision and passing) hasn't been looked at, and the reason why Ford has him high as well, since he seems to be a safe pick.

It's anyone's guess right now, but you can't literally say Beal should not be drafted from 4-7. It all depends on the teams' need in that range, some teams might already be stacked w/ good big men so they'll look at the wings before the big men prospects. So Beal is probably the 2nd shooting guard being drafted so he's closer to the 4-7 range.

Top 3 - Davis, Barnes, Drummond
4-7 - (in no particular order) Lamb, Sullinger, T-Rob, MKG (Even Beal can go in that range if teams want a 2 guard after Lamb's taken.)
7-10 - Beal, PJ3, Qmiller, Leonard (lol at doc)

Not sure if posted, but Beal's gator highlight mix is here :D

Thanks for posting man!

NO problem, dude's skills is awesome. Btw, IF Raps get Chandler, and somehow we play abit better so we end up drafting 5-8. Then we end up drafting Beal..., I wonder how this starting lineup's gonna fare, the good and the bad.

Me too, though I also see some Brandon Bass in him, hard to know which way it'd go...

I don't see the Bass comparison other than being a tweener.. well T-Rob apparently measured 6'10 in shoes with a 7'1 wingspan... he's much more athletic and physical than Bass from what I seen but without the consistent mid-range shot. Its hard to put a finger on it.. right now he's a smaller, better defensive version of Blake or Amare (without the offensive game). If he can put together a legit post game he'll be a player to watch.

Great article, thanks for that. He kind of reminds me of Chris Bosh in the sense that he doesn't want basketball define who he is.

As one his few fans on this board, I'm really pulling for him to go beast mode in March and shut up the haters. Maybe once he's drafted and is able to support his family, he can relax, just ball and let talent take over. Could be the steal of the draft is he falls below six.

PJIII sounds a bit like Oden personality wise

I don't buy the comments that he doesn't care or has no heart. To me it seems more likely that he cares too much.

He seems like a quality person, the best. But it still doesn't change the fact that his performance this season has been dismal. And maybe it's because he has a ton of stuff on his mind, but why would that change in the NBA? Money? It won't buy his mother a new heart so her condition will constantly weigh on him. It sounds like a complete jacka** thing to say, but the NBA is about winning, and I still don't believe he's the guy we need. It doesn't mean I won't root for him as a person though.

I've stated he would get a GM fired as well, maybe too far. But I can't see him being better than mediocre. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, maybe he won't.

PJ3 looks like Tim Thomas. Maybe he'll show up more than once a month.
