A lot of NBA Twitter is like that. The way they talk about certain players is suspect. Melo isn't a HOFer yet Joe Ingles is the greatest player in the history of the game.

Melo will be a HOFer, it's just the flavor of the month to hate on his career achievements (college/international) bc he has never won in the NBA and longer can contribute at a high level (I think HOF criteria may need some changing though, too many guys get in)

Joe Ingles being GOAT is pretty clearly a meme based on him being underrated by casuals bc he looks like a math teacher

relationships are very different from sports tho

i just don't see sports as an area where loyalty matters, for me it's just about finding teams that fit your principles/ideas

I just don’t think it’s the same when your favourite team wins if you hop from bandwagon to bandwagon. When the Eagles won the Super Bowl, it made all the previous heartbreaks worth it for me.

but I don't hop from bandwagon to bandwagon. it's never about becoming a fan of the best/winning teams.

it's about doing the research early, finding the diamonds in the rough, being there for it's rise and success, then moving onto another project when the current one runs it's course

it's not really a typical way of being a sports fan, but moreso putting myself in the shoes of a front office but with the freedom of viewing from a distance. I get it. it's kinda cold. but it's how I'm wired

tbh I'm probably never gonna leave Raps fam. I'm still here after all this chit.

It's definitely a good thing Xbox lets you change gamer tags. I'd have quit gaming if I was stuck with a tag like that forever.

He was my first favourite athlete when I was a wee tyke. He was very up and down tho. I remember one game vs St. Louis. Al McInnis scored a game winning goal on him from centre ice with one second left. I also remember Don Cherry calling him a “sieve”. Lol
