yeah, he's very much in the mold of the type of guy we excel at developing. prob the most athletic player in this draft, would start considering him at 6 or 7 (which is our most likely range rn)

can someone who is knowledgeable about these guys tell me who these guys most closely resemble in the current NBA and if they could impact winning in their first year in the NBA? Or if they are long term projects we'd need to develop.

Just a little raw, as I read some scouting reporting on his handle. May not be best to pair him with OG

We've seen this so much even during the Kawhi season that we need players who can do this consistently. It makes us that much harder to guard.

For the other 2 picks in the second round I would like to either combine them or use them on bigs who can help short up the frontcourt. Boucher for as good as he's developed isn't a long term solution there. There are some senior bigs out there who can help in those areas.

All in all we need to restock to cupboard with good young talent that can grow around Siakam/OG/FVV and be the next core moving forward.

I am a little greedy for the 1st pick. Additionally to your requirement, I want someone who can break down the defense to make assists or finish, meaning a quick first step with potential jump shot/pull up and some court vision / passing. Position would not matter, and most likely he will be a PG/SG. We have great talent all around the positions, and we are not making use of them.

Cade —> Luka/Simmons/Grant Hill
Mobley —> Bosh/AD
Kuminga —> Jaylen Brown/Siakam/Shawn Marion
Green —> Lavine/Rich mans Eddie Jones
Suggs —> Roy/Billups

All of them will likely be able to contribute from the start but it will take time for them to develop to their potential. Cade is the most NBA ready

I was hoping originally that we could get one of those b/c list allstars (CJ, Gobert) but all those guys got PAID. This draft is so crucial.

Everyone got scared of games being canceled or whole seasons then the BRI would go down and max's would go down. Get PAID now, demand a trade later.

FiveThiryEight seems to have been late to adjust but it's now in line with my thinking. They have us finishing 32-40.

Mobley should dominate defensively like AD did in championship game

I'll be honest, this post has 2014 "doesn't matter if its Wiggins or Parker you can't miss" vibes.

You never know.

Agree on most...but no...Cade is already way better than Simmons. Cade CAN actually shoot...which makes Cade already a better player than Simmons..

Jesus Gonzaga is good. Like watching Carleton vs the rest of our clowns.

That's fitting, because his brother is giving me flashbacks to Bargs with his pitiful effort defensively.
