Re: OT: Andrew Wiggins Discussion Thread
Kansas really improved on their zone offense reversing the ball quicker to get the ball in the middle of the zone and Embiid's been magnificent at locating his shooters and kicking the ball out. All they have to do now is finish the play.

Too bad we're going for the playoffs. Thanks Masai. I know you're watching Embiid right now and crying.
In Masai We Trust

What's going on with Wiggins? Is he sick again?
He needs someone to light a fire under his arse.
And yes, Embiid looking great again today.

Thorpe is such a bad pairing for Wiggys, slow to find him and doesn't even throw it properly to him.

I think it was in the last game that they mentioned coach Self mentioning having problems with Tharpe, I wonder if part of that had to do with ignoring Wiggins.
Judging by body language and such he does seem to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

Re: OT: Andrew Wiggins Discussion Thread
Since Jay Bilas was talking about comparing the talent between UK and KU, it's crazy how much Kentucky has been exposed since everyone thought they were unbeatable including me. They've got much more talent than the 2011-2012 Cats so this comes a big surprise.

If he's going to take some time to develop, the best thing for him would be to stay another year or to be anywhere EXCEPT toronto - the media and idiots in this city would eat the kid alive.

I don't understand the infatuation with Barnes. He's really not that good.

It looks like he's only motivated when he's playing another dominant player like we saw against Jabari Parker or against Julius Randle at LBJ's skills academy otherwise he's looks content letting his teammates take over.

Really?!
Because I find it hard to even catch 5 minutes of basketball recap on TSN and a Toronto sports writer that even has the inkling of a clue of what's going on with the Raptors.

I don't know if he has the physical tools. He lacks size, and might get slaughtered by NBA SFs. On top of that he's not an explosive athlete. His shot is generally excellent, but he's starting to look more and more like he's not going to be any kind of world beating superstar. This draft is looking more and more average, especially if Lavine and Exum are out, like I've seen rumoured.

Why not just watch him play buddy, he's got much improved handle that he can use to face up iso (e.g. against OKC) and has been using his post game to exploit matchup.
