If Brooklyn is the destination.....I want Lavert back in any S&T. Idc how it happens, just make it happen. Whether its a 3 team trade or 4, idc just make it happen

Yep or you make ibaka take a huge paycut to just sign outright with them

So they can do a trade but incoming salary has to bring them under apron. So basically they have to send out more salary than what they take back.

Not sure Masai would want to take on more salary due to 2021 free agency

They are currently 18 million over the tax line. The Apron is 6 million over the tax line. So we'd need to take back 12 million more than we send back. Don't think that's happening.

unless you include a 3rd team and bkn gives up some picks.

I'd be surprised if they are willing to dismantle their team for Serge. Let's say they gave us Lavert for Serge and gave Serge 12 million per to Lavert's 16ish. They would have to dump Prince and likely a pick on a team like the knicks. Prince, Levert and a 1st for Serge is way too much.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Maybe that’s the hold up.

Its def way too much but its the price they're gonna have to pay if they want to Cater to their Superstars.

And Im sure Durant and Irving have a lot of say right now. If Durant wants Ibaka, he will get Ibaka

If we sign and trade Serge for Allen and LeVert (Unlikely) but why wouldn't Caris start at SG over FVV?
He's the exact dynamic SG with size this team has been looking for.

We really need to move away from this two PG lineup, I'm sick of it.

Allen AND Levert? Who are you? Danny Ainge?

To answer the hypothetical, Caris would be perfect as a 6 man

But we have to take back 12 mil more in salary from
nets cause they are over apron by 18 mil. So i dont see any trade working with them, unless the sign the Joe Harris contract after trading for Ibaka

Ibaka will not sign for less than 20 million if its only 1 year. You're asking the man to risk injury by taking a shorter deal so it better be worth it.

I'm sure he's pushing for the longest term deal with the biggest bucks. Thats probably the hold up unless the 1 year deal makes too much sense for him.

I'm honestly excited. If he stays that's great. But none of these other teams can pay as much as we can. So I'm hoping we can get a sign and trade going and get some nice pieces.
