can we get Harris? I think we need an upgrade at guard. Someone that can keep up with the Rose and Rondos

I'd have to think now that the Heat and Bulls have opened up enough cap for 2+ max deals that the return we'd get otherwise for him will suffer some. The Bulls however clearly have the better assets for some return on the dollar.

It looks like Bosh will be following LeBron to Chicago.

"We're going to Chicago and Chris Bosh is coming too," Wesley says.

Fantastic. Assuming they won't deal Noah in a sign-and-trade, they have nothing of value.

Worst case scenario if true.

The only bright side might be if the utter dominance of a James/Bosh/Rose team exposes the CBA for allowing this crap.

Yep, I smelled this one coming. Well not the Hinrich trade, but LeBum going to Chicago. Only I was hoping we could pry Noah and give them Bosh. Now, what if he's set on Chicago? What can we possibly get in return?

James Johnson and....???

the only thing that Chicago can offer now is a swap of Jose for Deng, plus the TPE. i really hope the texas teams give him a call at 12:01.

I predict bosh goes to the knicks or bulls with lebron.

I think we will get something like Wilson Chandler, TPE future pick from the knicks.

Bulls would be James Johnson, TPE and future pick.

Or a three way with Anthony Randolph coming in.

We need a small forward.

I then see Hedo going to Sac with the future pick from the bosh trade for Dalemburt.

Roster will look something like

pg- jack/jose/banks

sg- derozan/bellinelli

sf- wilson chandler or JJ or AR/weems

pf- bargnani/ed davis/dorsey

c- dalemburt/amir/alabi

From Chicago, Asik's rights, a gigantic TPE, and Chicago's 2011 first and the Bobcats future 1st is about all we can hope for now (unless if they do this Deng deal with the Magic for Gortat/Pietrus, and Noah is on the table ). There is little to no use for Taj Gibson now, and I would rather have a little extra capspace than James Johnson.

Noah won't be included. NY have no picks. We don't want/need Lee.

If Chicago opens up the capspace to sign both Bosh and Lebron outright, we lose a lot of our leverage in terms of demanding certain players back. I guess we could let Bosh walk, but it's become quite clear that a big TPE can be very, very valuable this offseason--so just letting that go would be a huge mistake. If they're offering something like Asik+picks+TPE, it may not be what we'd want ideally, but there's definitely worse offers out there.
The Warriors were reported to be willing to give up their #6 pick (Udoh), who knows maybe even Randolph for anyone that would take Ellis. I think that would be fantastic return. The Hornets will give up Collison if they can move one of their contracts... they gave up their #11 pick (Cole Aldrich) for the Thunder to take MoPete--an expiring contract! (got Brackins, and Bledsoe, but sold him for a future 1st). I think we could really get Collison for Posey the way things are now. Between teams scrambling to free up capspace, and lux tax teams that will give up young talent to dump salary, there's a lot of opportunity to pick up young talent with a large TPE of that size.

By the way, if we have a big TPE, can that be utilized in a s&t for an FA?

Seems that Bosh will pick a team on July 1st. He will demand BC to excute a S&T with that team. Depending on who its (if its Miami?), we will likely get a nominal return. It seems >95% of posters have been deluded into thinking the Raps have some leverage in this scenario. That is pure fantasy. We will know for sure in a week. But if we dont get some decent value in a S&T, please refrain from whining. Deep down, we all knew the reality.

I'd be more comfortable playing our new rookie out there with Bargs over Lee. You do realize Lee is going to end up getting a sizeable contract right? And that Bargs would look like a DPOY next to him?

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks
