D Jones Jr
P Williams
T Brown Jr

We add two young players into our developmental system. The bulls solidify their backcourt. With Ball/Caruso being out for minimum 6-8weeks (maybe longer), this gives them an insane starting backcourt. When Ball is back, they shift FVV to the 2 as an off ball scorer. Lavine is your 3, Demar the 4, Vuc the 5

They'll be really good with FVV, wonder if we can add Boucher to the mix and get a FRP as well.

Something like...

That'd be awesome if we could make that work. We'd add such a crazy infusion of young talent to develop.

In the interest of throwing out trade ideas

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yc6xapls

Siakim
Boucher

for

Steven Adams
Dilon Brooks
Jarrett Culver
Ziare Williams

Gives us two young guys to bring into our system. Brooks would give us a strong bench scorer and Adams would give us strength at the 5. We might actually be a more balanced team this way.

Memphis adds a legit scoring/playmaking option next to Ja and JJJ.

I don't see Memphis (3rd in the west) making any drastic moves for chemistry reasons. Steven Adams has fit in perfectly for them and Brooks has always been good for them

True, they probably wouldn't do anything too crazy. Who knows though! Maybe they see their team as being 1 piece away from winning it all.

Siakam and Boucher have been our best players the last two weeks. Siakam is playing better than his previous all-NBA level. Why would we trade them?

It's purely if we decide to blow it up kind of move.

I'd rather keep the team together and add pieces to solidify this core. But if we go on a 5 game losing streak and are suddenly on the outside looking in, I'd look to unload our main guys for younger players and picks

Using the same argument but the other side of the coin, Boucher is easily a sell high candidate because of his play. 29yo, on his last year of his contract, who has had a pretty bad season thus far all things considered. if you can get a 1st rounder out of him or a med-high favorable long term young piece with more control, i think i would be inclined to make that trade.

Thinking about it, MAYBE, boucher’s greatest value may be to resign him?

His d it’s terrific. He has zero issues coming of the bench and performing instantly (huge). His three is returning. Low mileage.

What’s he going to command in free agency?

if we get him back on a seasonable 3 and 36 or 4 and 48 he’d still be a productive contract.

at that price, I’d assume most teams in the league would value him.

If we can hold onto him a bit longer, when the time is right, we may be able to package him for something really significant.

He will be looking for MLE. Some team will give it to him

Really he’s only worth around 8 the way he’s playing?

His expiring can’t be worth much more the 2 seconds.

Shoot, lock him up.

He's worth it for a competing team in the playoffs. How many of them have double digit in capspace or willing to spend that much for a bench player. I think MLE is the asking price.

It doesn't make sense. Ayton is a very good player but CP3 makes him half of what he is. In todays NBA, wing players like OG esp with the contract he's on are worth much more than Ayton who wants a 5 year 172M contract.

After the wizards blowing a 35 point lead tonight, Beal is gonna be a hot commodity.

GTJ, Boucher, Dragic and 2 FRP's for Beal and Bryant.

2 FRPs for a rental (who's not playing that well)? Kawhi didn't cost that much.

kawhi was also hurt and holding out.

beal is still under contract for next season. could easily be re-signed if he played well.

Dragic for Dinwiddie. Hes best as the lead guard of a unit and can do that off our bench

we really need a legit guard or 3 and D with the MLE imo. what's our cap situation looking like, can we afford Boucher? Unless we make a big move like trading Siakam and move a C into the lineup, I can't see this 3 bigs coming off the bench model going into next season.
