Brown's advanced stats are really bad, he's not worth the money.

I’d imagine we’d have to give up more than OG but I like the idea. The only problem is I wouldn’t feel good about giving Jaylen a max contract. Contracts aside, he would be a perfect fit here.

If the Celtics lose this series it will be interesting to see if they trade him to avoid paying him the super max.

The guy can't dribble and loses the ball multiple times a game

Jaylen Brown is better at basketball than Siakam

In reality his gameplay is garbage outside of his TS% both of them suck in the playoffs

Yeah he's an efficient scorer on good volume, but that's literally it. Which don't get me wrong means he's a good player but what else does he do at a star level? Average defense, below average playmaking, and he has the luxury of playing on a talented team so he doesn't get the main defensive focus.

Siakam is genuinely an elite playmaker for his size/position and has the length/motor to be a good defender when locked in/not having to carry the whole offense. Brown still falls asleep offball too often

This was always going to happen with Boston once Horford fell off

But I didn't expect it to matter until they lost one of their other role players. TBH not much you can do when Heat roleplayers are playing like this.

Caleb Martin is been a top 4 player this series. Heat basically have the 2-4 best player. I think Tatum been slightly better than Jimmy.

Exactly. Brown gets more turnovers than assists and he’s the 2nd option. Pascal is the better all-around player.

We need a coach that encourages ball movement. Look at the finalist teams, they both move the ball beautifully and their role players don't hesitate to shoot.

It's why I'm really not a fan of GTJ, ball sticks with him way too much, and FVV to a lesser extent. I want unselfish guys who make the extra pass. We miss Lowry man

Yeah he makes too much money but he's the get your own shot guy we need. I don't want to trade OG at all, but just picturing how much he'd help Boston just guarding Butler alone.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Cannot wait for the Cs to give Brown a super max. He does not have the decision making ability to be worth anywhere near that.

Brown is basically a perceived superstar who ruins his newfound scoring efficiency with suspect gameplay in almost all other facets of the game. He is essentially a net neutral RTG player. You don't pay those guys max contracts. Siakam hasn't fared much better in the playoffs, they both have not proven their worth.

It wouldn’t make sense for Boston though. They would have no scoring outside of Tatum. He would have to carry the whole offense. That’s a scary thought given how inconsistent he’s been.

You need the players. Miami offense loweky been better with Duncan spacing/DHO than Tyler consuming isos.

Raptors right now don't have players to play like that. They can't play 5 out and they only have one movement shooter. like OG is not really great shooter, no one will ever overreact to his shooting.

The Celtics were down 20 in the 2nd quarter, and every single player on their team thinks the answer is to take 3s when Zeller is on the floor.

Tatum with quick trigger 3s when he's got Robinson on him. Brown taking prayer 3s 4 feet behind the arc. Smart thinks a step back 3 when no one is guarding him is the answer.

Tells you all you need to know.

Herro's injury actually was a blessing in disguise for Miami I agree completely.

Here I thought Miami was washed after they got embarrassed at home versus Atlanta in the play in.

Draw the double, kick out. Miami is just playing classic basketball.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Good things happen when you touch the paint with a live dribble. I hope Scottie is watching Jimmy.

Celtics are poorly coached.

I wouldn’t trade Brown. They’ve gotten really close the last 5 years. It’s not easy making the ECF this many times. I also think Tatum and Brown have yet to hit their prime.

Honestly they should fire Mazzulla despite giving him the extension in February. Lots of good coaches out there that can get more out of this squad.
