Im a fan of Boucher because he’s my player in a dynasty fantasy league.

Im wondering why Nurse don’t play as much as he did last season? Why did he lose the job to Achiuwa, who clearly isn’t as good as him?

And lastly, how do you see his minutes going forward? Just so I know whether to keep or trade him?

Boucher was much better last year, a big part of it due to playing with Lowry.

His 3P% shooting has been bad this year at 25%, and compound that with low IQ and being selfish at times leads to inconsistent results.

Also he's approaching 30 whereas Achiuwa is in his early 20s. Makes sense to give minutes to Achiuwa during a developmental year.

Raps would likely trade Boucher by the deadline provided there's a market for him.

I think you would be selling Boucher at a low right now. Why not wait for after trade deadline see if Boucher goes to a new team with more mins. When he gets mins, he is a roto stud as you already know.

I don't see Boucher getting lots of mins even if we start resting OG, PS etc for tanking down the stretch, because Barnes and Achiuwa will be getting mins for their development.

They got Kyrie because Lebron left for Miami. They were awful for four years despite picking in the lottery every single year. In fact, I believe they had top 4 picks every year. They then got Lebron and the rest was history.

lol well I’m playing devils advocate because I really don’t care to discuss tanking philosophy but here goes.

The cavs tanked for lebron and could no longer tank because lebron was too good. He then left and came back because they tanked and got kyrie and used other lottery picks to get Thompson and trade for love and the rest was history.

Lebron is from Ohio. Cleveland never made the playoffs when he was in Miami. So clearly tanking didn't make them a good team as they never made the playoffs. He wanted to bring a championship to Cleveland and he did. If he wasn't from there, he'd have never gone. And Kyrie, Thompson, Waiters and Bennett is a terrible tank job.

But ya, the Cavs were able to restock their cupboards with LeBron in Miami. Him coming back...was likely planned? Only he (and his team) knows for sure. No way he comes back to Ohio if he weren't from there, and felt like he owed them a chip.

Yeh but I bet you if they never tanked and got him in the first place he wouldn’t have ever played for Cleveland. He came back because he felt bad for how he left and wanted to bring a chip to Cleveland.

Also I agree with you 100% that kyrie Thompson waiters and Bennet was a terrible tank job. But just imagine if they had Masai and now imagine what Masai would do with another top 10 pick.

People expected him to do well in the Cleveland game due to extended minutes, but he needs a creator for him to do well. That is why it works with Pascal and not with Svi.

When Boucher's 3 shot is falling he is hard to defend or block because of his release. It is almost like soccer players putting the ball in from touch. He is also athletic around the rim so he would be a good energy player for a contender.
