I wouldn’t trade Brown. They’ve gotten really close the last 5 years. It’s not easy making the ECF this many times. I also think Tatum and Brown have yet to hit their prime.

Honestly they should fire Mazzulla despite giving him the extension in February. Lots of good coaches out there that can get more out of this squad.

Nurse should coach them. Perfect roster for his coaching sensibilities.

You need the players. Miami offense loweky been better with Duncan spacing/DHO than Tyler consuming isos.

Raptors right now don't have players to play like that. They can't play 5 out and they only have one movement shooter. like OG is not really great shooter, no one will ever overreact to his shooting.

Yeah, I don't think our current guys can play like that, but the halfcourt offense was so uninspiring. We were genuinely the worst team in the league to watch man it was brutal, just non stop handoffs up top

I’d imagine we’d have to give up more than OG but I like the idea. The only problem is I wouldn’t feel good about giving Jaylen a max contract. Contracts aside, he would be a perfect fit here.

If the Celtics lose this series it will be interesting to see if they trade him to avoid paying him the super max.

Yeah he makes too much money but he's the get your own shot guy we need. I don't want to trade OG at all, but just picturing how much he'd help Boston just guarding Butler alone.

It wouldn’t make sense for Boston though. They would have no scoring outside of Tatum. He would have to carry the whole offense. That’s a scary thought given how inconsistent he’s been.

Trade cancelled.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Imagine running a dribble drive offense with no guys that could consistently beat their man off the dribble. It was always so nonsensical to me. Cutting and off ball movement with post initiation was rhe obvious plan of attack for a team with players of our akillset. Nurse sucked for this roster but also blow it up.

As unbelievable as Jimmy has been, this version of Bam elevates them to another tier.

Celtics fooled me man. They have such a deep roster. I have no idea what they're doing.

Let's not get too crazy, they only got James, Bosh, and later Butler/Lowry because they're an FA destination

I give them full credit for the scouting and filling out the rest of the roster but they have a leg up on other teams in getting that #1 guy

Of all the teams in the East playoffs Miami is the one we actually handled this season. Beat them 3 of 4, lost the one by only 3 points. OG routinely held Butler down.

I also thought Miami had a bad off season last summer, didn't do anything much to improve. But this playoff Heat team has taken a leap like I haven't seen in a long time.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Miami with perhaps the weirdest salary situation in the NBA. Jimmy is obviously on a great deal. Herro on a rookie deal. 4 undrafted rotation players making $12 combined.

Then they have $60m pretty much wasted on Lowry, Oladipo, Robinson. Imagine how much better they’d be if they had that money allocated more efficiently.

Return to Toronto Raptors
