That's helpful. I'd be good with any of these, including jaku

All still in play.. someone will fall to us lol.

Interesting about CMB.. really not sure about an undersized power forward whose offence ability is all projection at this stage, but I'll defer to those who have watched him a little more.

It's not projection, he had the highest TS% in the greatest conference in college basketball history while having zero spacing due to terrible teammates and carried a very high usage.
The projection is that he will get much worse because of size. In my mind Queen is a discount CMB on offense and doesn't offer any of the elite defense.
Queen is higher on people's boards because they are lousy evaluators, it's easier to visualize a guy who is 6'10 being a scorer around the rim in the NBA than a 6'7 guy despite that 6'7 guy being 6.5% better from 2, younger, better competition, and with worse teammates.

This is a textbook analysis of a major qualitative error that is so common in scouting.

Mock Drafts from random people online mean nothing at this point in time....Players will fall and rise...But there is a clear top 9 in terms of order it could be all jumbled up....I predict one of Kon/Maluach/Queen/Fears will be a Raptor....Idk if Masai goes off board but its possible he likes Bryant/Flemming Traore....But only way i see Masai going off board like that would be if Kon was the one to fall...I think if any of Queen/Fears/Maluach are available at 9 Masai takes them no matter what.

That fresh kick to the nuts feeling hasn't passed yet.

We endured this sewer of a season to draft a role player...sickening.

Have my doubts regarding KM (I waffle a lot when it comes to him) but would be fine walking away with Traore. Fun high upside pick that brings something we don’t have on the roster

I don’t think this changes too much; if Khaman is gone then guys like Bryant and Fleming get a look. 5-10 isn’t that big of a difference and we will still get a good rotation player On the plus side we save a little bit of money.

Only Flagg is a sure-fire all-star calibre player, the rest of the guys can all end up being role players. However, this draft is deep and there will be all-stars scattered all over the place.

Just trust in Masai.

Harper to the Spurs seems like such a weird pick given what they have at guard. I wonder if #9 and Grady or Jakobe for #2 gets it done

No the Spurs will use the pick to get Giannis or they will just pick at 2 and Keep building up their team.

Makes sense they would swoop right in and out tank us to land better draft slot.

Tanking all season to get 9th definitely sucks. But at this point I’m a full on conspiracy theorist. There’s no way the Mavericks, Spurs and Sixers deserved the top 3 picks. Way too many coincidences happened tonight.

common look at those odds

I hate the outcome, but using these odds as a sign of riggage is terrible. I doubt the odds of any 1-2-3 order combination would have been more than 1%.

I can't argue with this. I am starting to think Traore might be a better prospect than Fears.

Truth.

Raptors will get a chance to workout the second tier of players in this draft and the guys projected around late lottery. Players like Traore or Essengue could absolutely be the pick if they look great behind closed doors.

Atm i am settling on
Queen/Fears/Maluach/Kon/Traore as my top 5 on draft night....Carter Bryant is meh to me and the rest have role player upside. If Queen or Fears fall to us that would be a home run for me....But its unlikely...I think Kon is the one to fall...Which id be fine with taking him or Traore at that point.

I don't see us trading for another pick high enough to take both Flemming and Bryant so I'm amending my hopes to Flemming and Coward.

Team Traore here, has 20/5 potential if pans out right. His combination of speed and scoring ability are rare to find in nba.

This is where I sit as well. I would be OK with Johnson as well, but I doubt he is there at 9.

I also like these guys who played professionally in Euroleague. They tend to be a little more well rounded and mature than some of the NCAA prospects.
