I was leaning towards Giannis staying with the Bucks but if they lose in the 2nd round, I think there is a chance he leaves. The Bucks need to reshape the roster, they just don't have shot creators.

We will see soon whether or not he takes the supermax with the Bucks.

Giannis is unstoppable in transition but he's probably better suited as an elite roll man or post threat in the halfcourt. His attacks from the top of the 3 point line don't work against teams with the size to match him. Bucks desperately need creative playmakers like Dragic to help him.

If the Raptors get him you make him a full-time 5 and you need to surround him with a multiple shot-creators. Unless Siakam makes a huge leap he won't work with him, try to package him with picks for Beal. Its possible even OG might be too offensively limited to complement Giannis properly.

Ugh I love butler. I know he's a headcase and usually an inefficient mid range player during the season but man he's such a beast when it comes to bully ball during the playoffs.

Dude just comes for your throat when he sees self doubt.

Watching the Heat execute on offense is an absolute pleasure.

Powell and OG were our only cutters but they've stopped

I healed my wounds from Sunday by upvoting all the self-loathing comments on the Buck's PG thread.... so therapeutic

OG is fine since that corner 3 is always going to be there. probably can't find too many two- way players that can easily create their own shot and be a defensive stud and are easily available.

although i complain about Siakam because of my false and high expectations of the team's results this year (obviously Raps are in playoffs and I want them to win it all) - Expect Siakam to get a jumper next year. imagine beginning of last season, he had NO jumper, and now he has a somewhat developing jumper that he can somewhat score with on average efficiency. dude is a development stud.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

Siakam and Giannis wouldn't fit all, neither are reliable shooters or guys who can close and they'd take up mid-court space between them. There's just as good a chance Siakam will not be a Raptor for as long as his contract lasts as there is he will be the entire duration.

It's great watching Jimmy run wild, as long as it's not against your team.

2 words: sell high. Pascal despite a **** bubble performance still has an all-star appearance and perhaps an all-NBA appearance as well.

These playoffs shows the importance of have a shot maker. Celtics have Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum. Jazz have Donovan Mitchell. Nuggets have Jamal Murray. Blazers have Lillard and McCollum.

We used to have Kawhi.

We don't currently have A guy who can go out and get you 40 points no matter who's guarding him and hit big shots. Pascal ain't that guy. Freddie's been good but needs to show up...now.

My thoughts exactly. People are expecting him to be like LeBron when he's more like Shaq. Giannis is obviously a better perimeter player than Shaq but you still need another primary ball handler which I think Middleton is not. But you wouldn't say that Shaq is not a franchise player so IDK why people are saying that about Giannis

That why I said letting Brogdon go and signing Bledsoe is the worst idea EVER

Middleton did pretty good today but doubt his good shooting today will carry over

Also age-wise, they aren't going to get younger. Most of their core is over 28.

I'm not Canadian but just really enjoyed Jamal Murray's rise. Hope he gets this one tonight.

This game is trash. Both teams look exhausted.

Return to Toronto Raptors
