Would be a great deal for the Raptors. Gordon who's on a 3yr deal (18mil AAV) would be a tremendous fit on this squad.

Gordon is 33 and really not a guy I'd deal a FRP pick for based on our current ambitions of contention.

We had one... He is currently bricking shimmy 3's in Sacramento.

At this price I’d rather aim for someone like Norm who might become available if the blazers blow it up.

It's scheme, raptora focus on the top 2-3 players and have the others try and beat them, that's why it's proportionally higher that scrubs go off on us.

On the other hand the stars are mostly kept in check.

It's part of the gamble.

IDK.

I think I would do that.

FVV/Beal/Pascal/Scottie/Center and then GTJ can be our bench gunner. That is a pretty nice team. Beal fixes a lot of issues this team has.

I don't know. I guess I'm not as high as most people are on this draft. This draft is extremely weak.
Gordon is on a 3yr team friendly deal and can easily be flipped to a contender in 2023 or 2024 for a first round pick that'll net us a better prospect than what we'd get this year.

If the goal is to be competitive this year and if the reports of the Raptors looking to trade picks to address immediate need is in fact true (via Lewenberg) then this is the type of deal that makes some sense.

Eric Gordon is having a fantastic year and would be a great fit on this team.

Dragic + Svi + Yuta + Pick......for Josh Hart + Tomas Satoranski?

Works in the trade machine. Josh Hart is only 26 yrs old and would fit our age group. We also stay under the Tax

Dunc'd On podcast brought up Dragic for Malik Beasley.
Timberwolves get out of his 15M owed for next year (team option for 2023-24). Raptors get a playable bench guard? He's definitely a little overpaid but our bench situation is so dire.

Yeah that's a huge overpay.

Buying low on Beasley makes plenty of sense.

Literally zero chance the FO goes after Beasley given his off-court antics.

I wouldn't move a FRP as much as I like what Hart brings;
But if it could be done with a few SRPs then sign me up.

Oh yeah absolutely. When I said Pick...I meant a future 2nd rd pick. Tough to say if New Orleans does that but it would save them a lot of money and they would have the Full MLE going into next off-season to add around their core.

Doesn't Beasley have some serious character issues? Not sure that's a deal Masai makes.

I wouldn't. He's shooting horribly for the year. I feel we could to better with a contract of that size.

Read on Twitter

I think given charge of the second unit he’d do well. Beal and him have been cancerous together (actually Beal has sucked with lineups including any of their starters which is the larger story)

I'm not gonna sit on the sideline and act like I know what this guy is like on a personal level based on some tweets and TMZ stories.

The morality police are in full force on this forum.

I'd expect Masai to consider make up and fit. How he grades out, and what weighting that even has, I have no idea.

From a basketball perspective, he will help, fits a need, and a timeline.

I more concerned with what happens on the court, not at home.

Take out Flynn and replace frp with srp
