Masai is the ultimate con, he played like he was leaving just some emotionally attached fans could get all hyped up and force MSLE to make him highest paid. What has he done since ? spends so much time in Africa and too weak to make sure guys like Fred are kept in check. I am so sick of clown fans worshipping a guy who has sat on his butt doing zero since our chip season He talks a good game and then does nothing, just come out and say were not doing nothing and have been acting like some drama queens the past 3-4 weeks for attention. We're very sorry for wasting the time of the GM's from other teams and were never serious about trading anyone because we see them coming on.
It seems like no deal/offer is good enough and I just don't believe that because they have so many teams interested. Are they all offering just garbage second rounders ? Very sad but with Masai also very predictable
There are 30 teams in the NBA, each doing their best to win a championship.
If winning a championship and becoming one of the most well run, respected organizations in the league isn't enough for you, I question whether anyone can meet your expectations. There's only a handful of teams that have won more NBA regular seasons games than the Toronto Raptors since Masai took over.
I understand that in today's world people (not necessarily you) expect instant gratification. But if that's your thinking, maybe following sports is too complex, or emotionally taxing, and those overly sensitive individuals should follow the Underwater Basket Weaving Championships on ESPN 3 every Sunday at 3:30AM EST (mostly re-runs)
I am not expecting a title this season or next or the yer after, I want a team that plays exciting team basketball. Not some 2 man ISO circus show where we only beat crappy teams or teams missing key players. Stop making this about demanding changes for a title, how about trading out fake star and getting another exciting young player along with some depth pieces.

But the question would be with what?!?
Are we hoping to trade Pascal & OG to get him?! How are we filling out the roster to be at a championship level once we get cleaned out of all our best assets?!? I don't see that as a wise plan tbh.

I think Suggs has been relied upon too much for ball handling at Orlando. Better strictly as a combo guard. Unfortunately for him the injuries are a major concern. Good defender though. I'd prefer the Chicago 1st or draft capital from another team. But maybe this is the best offer?

Except he's running out of time and is one more bad injury away from hanging it up.OakleyDokely wrote:If KD wants to cement his legacy, he stays in BRK and lifts that team into contention. That will add to his legacy more than forming another superteam.

If we're waiting till the summer, the expectation is the Nets are floating face down.

Orrrr… he wins a chip (or 2) with the Raptors.. retires here in 5 years.. then him and Drake write songs about it that will last for all eternity! ‘Legacy’ can be their first single…
