There are 30 teams in the NBA, each doing their best to win a championship.

If winning a championship and becoming one of the most well run, respected organizations in the league isn't enough for you, I question whether anyone can meet your expectations. There's only a handful of teams that have won more NBA regular seasons games than the Toronto Raptors since Masai took over.

I understand that in today's world people (not necessarily you) expect instant gratification. But if that's your thinking, maybe following sports is too complex, or emotionally taxing, and those overly sensitive individuals should follow the Underwater Basket Weaving Championships on ESPN 3 every Sunday at 3:30AM EST (mostly re-runs)

I am not expecting a title this season or next or the yer after, I want a team that plays exciting team basketball. Not some 2 man ISO circus show where we only beat crappy teams or teams missing key players. Stop making this about demanding changes for a title, how about trading out fake star and getting another exciting young player along with some depth pieces.

What is a "fake star"?
Is this similar to when Pluto's planetary status was revoked?

Suggs was a top QB recruit.

I think Suggs has been relied upon too much for ball handling at Orlando. Better strictly as a combo guard. Unfortunately for him the injuries are a major concern. Good defender though. I'd prefer the Chicago 1st or draft capital from another team. But maybe this is the best offer?

If KD wants to cement his legacy, he stays in BRK and lifts that team into contention. That will add to his legacy more than forming another superteam.

See that's why Suggs looks like a bust (so far).

Having him off-ball as a combo doesn't make much sense, that's what Gary does and he does so because he can shoot. Suggs' "strength" is supposed to that "QB vision & decision making", he's just not that good or skilled enough as a ballhandler to take care of the ball well enough so he can make those reads.

As I've said a few times, to me Suggs is just a filler in the trade, it's one of their picks that would/should be the main target.

But doesn't mean that they won't receive huge trade packages for a top 5 player that the league will be fighting over as they were just last off-season and it still doesn't explain how we complete the roster...

Any move we make for FVV / OG / GTJ has to be for pieces that will be viewed as an appreciating asset.. specifically so they can be potentially repackaged for KD in the summer.

If KD doesn’t make the Finals this year, he’s asking out. Book it.

Can't say that I agree as a whole.

What I can agree is that IF he were to win a championship in BKN that would be more impactful for his resume than ANYTHING else he could do.

But just cementing his legacy, he can go nearly anywhere that hasn't won a ring in the last 4-5 years, join them, win a ring and it will add on to it ie/ say he did join the Suns and won a ring, he'll move up the all-time lists. People debate between him & Steph but if KD won another 1 or 2 anywhere else, I'll bet he'd get the clear nod over him.

What will happen?
