It didn't fully hit me last night even amongst the dundas square crowds. Sitting on my ass today reading all the breakdowns, TV commentary, reactions and the historical achievement and it's finally sinking it. Looking back at the Kawhi trade I thought we had an outside shot of getting to the finals but we'd lose handily to the dubs. Even going into this I thought we'd get swept or just play better than Portland and Rockets. Doesn't matter. The rest is history.

Why is the official championship T-shirt so ugly? I’m trying to buy some gear but a lot of it looks horrible. Like the kind that I would frame or keep as memorabilia but is too ugly to wear.

There have been a lot of complaints about perfectly "okay" looking Raptors swag over the years, but this thing is damn ugly. I'm the biggest Raps fan I know, but if I was gifted one of those shirts it would instantly become a pyjama shirt.

Just wanted to pop in and say congratulations on becoming NBA champs! As Warrior fans know, people will try to discredit championships for any reason but ignore the hate because you earned every bit of this one. Enjoy it and hope you resign Kawhi and we see you for a rematch next year.

What I really think about this season? GOAT of course

IMO, we swept the warriors all year.

2-0 season with KD playing/ Kawhi/ Curry missing a game but warriors had full team in one of those games
4-2 in playoffs- those 2 losses though? historical collapse in 3rd Q, 18-0 run which is unheard of, and then our coach calls a timeout in game 5 to ruin momentum. Not to mention the refs controlling game 2 in 1st half and we were stlil a steal away from tying and taking it to OT, anything can happen.

Those are all learning steps, we controlled most of the series and the entire season vs them.

We're legit, don't listen to the haters. We were better than than with Klay playing. Obviously with KD, its hard to tell due to the small sample size but wouldn't surprise me if series went 7 games with KD playing too. Cousins was good enough to pass as a star, Iggy played like a former MVP even at his age similar to Gasol making key plays and defensive ability. We really took away their Cousins adv and credit goes to Nurse for that.

This is a legit win.

He deserved that trophy man. I was one of the guys that wanted him way before the trade went down and this is exactly why. Yeah, I would have liked to see him more aggressive on offense but that was by design, we were elite.
