Sick of reading all of the hypothetical trades. It felt like an eternity this year since we have a bunch of rumours for over a month now. I’m glad it’ll be over in 2 days.

There are 30 teams in the NBA, each doing their best to win a championship.

If winning a championship and becoming one of the most well run, respected organizations in the league isn't enough for you, I question whether anyone can meet your expectations. There's only a handful of teams that have won more NBA regular seasons games than the Toronto Raptors since Masai took over.

I understand that in today's world people (not necessarily you) expect instant gratification. But if that's your thinking, maybe following sports is too complex, or emotionally taxing, and those overly sensitive individuals should follow the Underwater Basket Weaving Championships on ESPN 3 every Sunday at 3:30AM EST (mostly re-runs)

I am not expecting a title this season or next or the yer after, I want a team that plays exciting team basketball. Not some 2 man ISO circus show where we only beat crappy teams or teams missing key players. Stop making this about demanding changes for a title, how about trading out fake star and getting another exciting young player along with some depth pieces.

What is a "fake star"?
Is this similar to when Pluto's planetary status was revoked?

Are we hoping to trade Pascal & OG to get him?! How are we filling out the roster to be at a championship level once we get cleaned out of all our best assets?!? I don't see that as a wise plan tbh.

I mentioned this previously, in the offseason we could trade OG + Scottie + Boucher + Thad + our 2023 pick for Durant. Our starting lineup would be Fred, Gary, KD, Pascal, and Precious. Bench is really thin though, and it is betting a lot on Durant staying healthy.

Masai is the ultimate con, he played like he was leaving just some emotionally attached fans could get all hyped up and force MSLE to make him highest paid. What has he done since ? spends so much time in Africa and too weak to make sure guys like Fred are kept in check. That's the decision that has to be made, though, win now or build through the draft? So far we keep deferring this decision, it's a repeat of the "still evaluating" meme that dominated this board during the Kyle + DeMar years. At least back then we were making the playoffs every season.
