You simply can't win a war without ammunition.

Who cares about individual battles won.

you are alive!

Yeah man I was really hurt at the mean comments about my mental health (man these people have no empathy) and decided to do a little soul searching in the temple. But now i am back better than ever to root for the tank.

100% honesty, I didn't read it properly if you were referencing your own mental health. Straight up apologies.

I still think your comments about my children were out of pocket, but let's squash it.

The Jazz are an actual concern, especially with Lauri going down last night.

The Jazz are going to out tank us by far. They are in that elite tank tier with Washington. Don't waste time trying to catch them

You're giving our team much too much credit.

No. I don't think so.

Our team is very unlikely to sell off major assets. Which means we're going to rack up some wins late in the season and against fellow bottom feeders and injury prone teams.

As bad as we've been, there isn't much unexpected to it. We have a very tough first 40 and were going to lose a lot. The injuries have added a few more losses that could be expected, but have also shown us we have some decent players and our team plays hard every game.

We're still going to be a 30+ win team this year which means we're far more likely to have to worry about the Spurs than the Jazz.

How I see this tanking situation....

Dream scenario - we get in the top 4 draft one of Egor or Bailey
Hopeful scenario - we stay in the top 7 and draft Maluach or Johnson
IMO most likely scenario, we climb the standings as we get healthier/schedule get softer, we draft Will Riley (or maybe Powell)

Dejounte Walter just got unlocked as a starter. I think you have to keep starting Jakobe Walter now. Shead and Davion can fight more backup mins until Davion is traded.

We're really going to have to make a difficult choice with RJ, Gradey, Ochai and Walter at some point.

I don't think we'll be able to keep everyone, especially with the draft coming up as well.

I think at least 1 of them will get traded at some point, if not 2.

Terrible showcase game for Poeltl. WTF was that?

The pelicans clearly shut him down at the expense of getting blown out so they can trade for him on the cheap.

RJ at the draft.

Bruce Brown, Davion, Boucher, Fernando gone by the trade deadline. Olynyk maybe by the deadline or the draft.

They went with the younger Ochai tonight. Very enticing

What can you do when Ochai and Battle put in performances like that. The team played Jakobe, their two second round picks and and UDFA major minutes. Ochai major minutes. Still played Davion Mitchell 15 minutes who scored nothing and managed to win.

Can't do anything about that.

RJ makes the most sense by a lot but also a fan favourite so we'll see.

It's really not a problem til after the draft. And if they draft a center or PG it's not an issue until RJ's contract is up.

If they draft a good PF or SF,

A wing rotation longterm of Barnes, Gradey, Ochai, Walter sounds great. Well balanced amount of shooting and defence, size and athleticism there. All 4 fit roles well that belong on a championship team.

Will need more offence from the PG or 4/5 slots (How much depends where Barnes and Gradey ultimately end up)

we are years away from sniffing a championship

rn we SHOULD aim to have an excess of assets

I wouldn't be surprised if they trade Ingram and shut down their guys towards the end of the season because they're about to fall WAAAAAY out of the Western Conference Playoff picture and there's no way Zion can hold up for the kind of run the Pels will need to go on in order to make the Playoffs.

I tried to tell ya'll about them a couple weeks ago...

It doesn’t look good. Raps are still bad but the East is so bad that a play-in spot is still in play.

Apparently, the Bulls and Nets are going to start selling. The Hornets look bad even with LaMelo healthy and like every year when LaMelo goes down, the Hornet will be in free fall. It also doesn’t look good for the Sixers. With the way the season is playing out for them, they might just shutdown Embiid for the season.

Team Chemistry lost once Barnes came back?

We need to make some tough decisions around selling assets, if we are looking at a top 7 pick...

Looks like Nurse is a better tank commander than Darko. We made a mistake letting him go.

If we lose our next game we are exactly where I thought we would be 20 games in 5-20.

Anyone who thinks we were ever having the worse record in the league was just daydreaming. We just need to be in the top 7 range like 2021 to be in great position for a stacked draft. I have faith even at 7/8 we are getting a top 3 player with our evaluators

That's not how it works. The players need to actually be there for that to happen, you can't just pick the top 3 player, if they are already picked. We can have faith in them to find the BPA sure, but that's an unrealistic expectation.

We should be aiming to rest guys and get as bad of a record as possible.
