if they win this game, its their championship to lose.
they wont' have to make additional moves.
good for raps; not only will okc be out of the giannis sweepstakes, we may get another bite of the apple with trying to trade for jokic

Only the CBA/apron can stop them now

What about Wemby and Co?
Houston?
Flagg+?
Luka?
Utah?

Funny they all get to beat up on one another year after year to get out of the West.

I don't see any of those teams beating OKC next year. Houston with their depth if they add a star scorer maybe. After next year who knows, things change fast in the NBA

I'm not calling anything until I see where Giannis lands.

All matters atm is this year and i will predict OKC makes the finals and wins it all....The 26/23/22 year old OKC Thunder one of the youngest best teams will have a title before reaching their primes....They also have maybe the best assets in the league to trade for a Giannis if they wanted 2....Crazy

lmao please stop man. Giannis is not coming here and Denver definitely not trading Joker. Denver can get right back if they can improve at the edge or get KD.

Giannis wants to play with a star teamate and moreover, he is not leaving the Bucks to the Raptors. 30 year old superstar with his last few prime years left leaving a mid situation for another one, does not happen.

Thunder-Wolves is gonna be good. Minnesota a much better defensive team and actually has bench depth. Dare I say that Randle is gonna be the key factor. If he can play well, they got a shot.

The logic never made sense. OKC had an opportunity to evaluate a high end prospect and it didn't work out. So, traded him for a top level two way role player. That's a fail? You know you're biased when that's considered a fail.

yes we should instead adopt the two loser mentality and tank for the next 10 years.

I still like the Wolves chances. Conley needs one to join his pal Marc. Randle looks like a man on a mission. ANT's the future? Well prove it.

I see comments how OKC wasted opportunities. Not consolidating and such. I Hart and Caruso were huge gets. I like the build from within approach as well.

When we wasted a couple years after the Tampa tank going for “winning culture” the Thunder tanked and got Giddey (who they traded for Caruso), Chet, JDub, and Cason Wallace. Now they’re well on their way to a Championship.

They should have consolidated their roleplayers cause they can't give some mins. Isaih Joe+ wigggins should have been used for a better player that can play 28mins a game. Their shooting is suspect so a Cam Johnson or Trey Murphy would be great for them

Their depth is insane. Of course it looks that way a lot more in a blowout when everyone's hitting on all cylinders

Nets wanted two firsts for Cam Johnson as I recall. Lets see what OKC does this off season and this playoffs first. Trey would not be cheap.

I do wonder if the league wants OKC to win it. Will it be a good look to show that tanking works? Is this what the league would want? I get their best player was via trade but the majority of their other main players are from the draft excluding Shai and Alex. Now they did make some valuable trades so they still have picks.

The only consolidation trade they could have made that made sense was likely KD at the deadline. It would have cost then Hart and some bench depth, and I think they could survive this year without the C with the added offense. But even then, keeping their powder dry for Giannis, which was inevitable at some point, likely still made more sense.

That would have been great. Totally down for that idea.

LOL comparing two completely different situations. we were at the end of our title run while okc is still in the middle of theirs and they haven't won anything yet.

and if you haven't noticed, what with every other team that's won recently also failing to repeat, it's not an easy road to get back there and stay there.

and before you go on with whatever nonsense, remember, we have a title and they don't.

But they already had a generation al talent in Shai who they got for Paul George.....not a result of tanking.

Those others are easily obtainable talents, with the top in Chet on the same tier as BI - who we got for a bag of chips.

Return to Toronto Raptors
