will have to keep track to this but Miles Bridges might have arrived. I am happy for the GOAT:
Ball and Bridges are looking like nice pieces, but this looks much more competition for us.

pretty good start for Reddish. I wonder how it lasts though or maybe he is actually developing.

Amazing. He's also an extremely likeable guy. Grizz will be a good team in the next few years.

Agreed. Jaren Jackson is really disappointing to me though. He doesn't look like a game changer.

Re: Official NBA General Discussion 2020-21 V1.0
I was a big fan of Usman Garuba because in Europe he was a special defender. In the NBA it looks like he is translating well in his very short time oncourt:
That is some wow level contests and activity. He'd be a great fit for the Raptors.
Houston really killed it in the draft and I give huge props to Stone:
Jalen Green
Alperen Sengun
Usman Garuba
Josh Christopher
In a couple years they will be dangerous. If they land the top pick this year they might accelerate their development even faster.

I don't agree with Green over Mobely but I like Sengun and Garuba a lot.

Mobley with 16/4/3 in 22 minutes so far against the Lakers.
This is going to be some ROY race

if stats are really close, then team record may be the determining factor.

That Paul George trade is looking good for OKC. With Kawhi out that could be a to 10 pick easy.

The Wizards are not forcing the ball to Beal at the end of the game. Refreshing to see from them.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Thybulle looks like he’s a defensive savant in Philly.
raf1995 wrote:I just don’t think he has that kind of potential. I think we will regret not trading him for a haul in a few years when he’s a mid-tier starter with nice playmaking and defense and a shaky jumper.

Jalen Green's biggest strength is scoring and he's shooting 34% from the field. He does nothing else on the basketball court when he's not putting the ball in the net.
Josh Christopher has played in four games and is averaging 7 minutes in those contests.
Usman Garuba has also barely played.
So I don't think we can say they killed the draft lol. We obviously can't say they had a dud of a draft either given how early it is. But I'd say many would argue that Stone has done a horrendous job over the past year considering he traded Harden for essentially nothing and then went into this season with a core of KPJ, Green and Wood.

2 nights ago KD throws a ball in the stands, only got a T but the league admitted after it should have been ejection. Now tonight against Detroit he throws elbow and forearms to Olynyk's head and throat, rightly gets ejected. And they had a big lead.
He's a superstar but there's something unstable and immature about him.

They have arguably the worst owner in the league, a middling front office, a roster that makes zero sense, and an undesirable asset base with little to nothing of value. And it took them only a year to become as bad as they are.

There are some on this forum that will tell you they are tanking the right way....with an emphasis on losing over winning straight out of the gate. Highest pick possible or die trying. Haha.
