My only question regard Precious is whether he can really be a 5. I feel he’s more of a 4. Otherwise he looks special

Precious is 6 feet 7.5 inches tall. I prefer him at the PF spot. He is undersized to be a consistent starting Centre.

eh. Bam Adebayo is one of the best C's in the league and he's 6'8 barefoot. His problem isnt gonna be height, it's gonna be strength. He needs to hit the weight room

Five blocks is pretty good for a perimeter guy. The thing that I have concern about was the last field goal that he had. Someone passed him an alley oop pass but he just stood there and caught it then laid it up. Was he just taking it easy or couldn't he not make an ally oop?

Using RealGM logic I will have to proclaim Green and Sengun as monumental busts after this game. Green was clearly shook after the beatdown we gave him that he decided to take his ball and go home. Meanwhile despite Scottie's inactivity on offense he contributed to winning basketball while being a force on the defensive end with 5 blocks and a steal while also grabbing 4 rebounds in only 23 minutes of action. He also did all of this while battling an injury he suffered in the first half.

Christopher also looked solid in the first two games but after tonight he is also a gigantic bust. Houston screwed up, they have no other choice but to just relocate their team. Stick a fork in them, they're done.

For the last time I WAS WATCHING THE GAME. He was awful. Who said anything about 6 points?

And then he missed the second half! Barnes looked awful during the first half and played much better in the second half. You can’t judge a game off one one half. Posters on here trying so hard to hate on Jalen Suggs

This entire post chain started with me saying "hope Magic fans arent overreacting to Suggs going 2-6 for 6 points and looking awful" or something like that. Literally me saying we shouldnt overreact. Nobody was hating on Suggs, lol. Weird to jump to his defense like this so strongly tho

My guy here’s the post I responded to. The post below was just pure hating considering both guys literally played one half. Why would Magic fans react to Suggs’ game when he only played one half? The comparison to Barnes doesn’t make sense because there was a whole other half to review Barnes’ performance and be got much better defensively. It’s kind of weird to assume that both Suggs and Green couldn’t have had better halfs if they had played.

They won't bring up Suggs today because it won't fit their narrative, nor will they admit that Green was not the Superstar awakened that they promised us he would be in this game. The narrative for today is that Banton is the better pick (the same guy they called a charity pick just 5 days ago mind you).

Dude, it's ok. I wanted Suggs too. But I'm telling you I watched the game and he was garbage until he came out. And that they were getting whooped so bad there was no reason for him to come back in. Just relax a little and let the pick play out. Why are you in such a hurry to bitch and moan and call the guy a bust? You trying to ruin the season for yourself and the rest of us before it even starts?

Suggs is also a -36 in three games. The team has been better with him off the court than on.

I didn't see Suggs tonight but he was great in first 2 games. Those plus/minus stats are useless in basketball.

The entire point of the thread was that our fanbase has been over-reacting while other fanbases are being sensible and here you are defending Suggs’ honor for some reason going on about something that was never even said.

Fair play

The same posters who ran to his defence after the first game are now saying Summer League means nothing.

I am not even looking at the box score, it is the way he plays. That is what you look to translate.

He cannot score, he isn't a primary ball handler, he cannot shoot, so what will he be on O to start? He can't be used off ball as a shooter, his finishing ability is worse than I thought (that layup was high school level he missed) so him in the PnR or being used as a cutter might not even work.

We drafted a defensive minded player who has huge holes in his offensive game. It's the skills, not the box score performance.

Draymond Green is 6'7.5" with shoes with an 8'10 standing reach. Precious is the same height with a 9'1" standing reach.
