Didn’t see the video but concerning if Scottie isn’t looking improved. If he’s peaked and this is who he is for the rest of his career Idk if we’re contenders.

Why would you even think we're contenders lol.

We're just hoping to be a playoff team with a competitive 1st round exit. We are going to have to trade for a superstar to actually make us a contender like 2019

I just said our potential hinges on Scottie’s development so if he’s peaked we aren’t doing **** with him in the playoffs

Either that editor hates Scottie Barnes or Scottie did nothing but light cardio in that run

Scottie needs an upgrade where his handles are concerned. It would be nice to see if he has branched out to utilize other trainers than his go to.
He's back in the gym with the same dude, again, based on his IG stories. Disappointing

Okay I watched it. It was the same day but it’s a longer video with a little more footage. Scottie looked better in the this one and that play where he almost lost the handle didn’t look as bad with this angle. He hit a set created turn around midrange shot, got to the basket from a standstill from the 3 point line and made the layup, made some key defensive plays, made a couple great passes as usual and hit the game winning wide open catch and shoot corner 3. It looks like his team won the day as well. This is why you shouldn’t make too many judgments off short videos or clips. You don’t get to see enough, because the previous video only had like 2 Scottie plays (one being the fumble with the handle) and that was it. He looked just fine in this video in my opinion. Nothing crazy but nothing terrible either. And even with me saying all that, it’s a run, there isn’t much you can take from these whether the player plays good or bad. Just like summer league.

Amplifying this post because if the narrative of "Scottie's instagram workout videos are the only training he does" wasn't stupid enough, now we have "Scottie's plays in this 6min summer run edit were the only plays he made"

I really don't know if Scottie has a good training regimen or not, and I won't be trying to figure it out through a computer screen.

Just make your points without using logical fallacies, it’s way worse than what anyone else has done here. A major one constantly used is the straw man argument.

Just for your information, a strawman is when someone is refuting an argument someone isn't making. I assume in this case you're referring to "Scottie's instagram workout videos are the only training he does" wasn't stupid enough, now we have "Scottie's plays in this 6min summer run edit were the only plays he made", as the strawman being refuted.

It's not really accurate here to say this is a strawman argument because I just looked back and that's literally what a poster said in the page before about the summer run, specifically making the claim that he had only one basket. If someone in this thread has literally said that point, then it's not a strawman.

Yup, I was only referring to the first one, not the 2nd.

Taking the weakest point (to which I'm not even sure was made) and representing it as the argument is a straw man.

I'm not to big into todays modern celebrities but Glorilla seems like a really cool girl, Everytime I see her featured on something she comes accross as a positive personality. Good to surround yourself with good people.

She’s got some bangers.
Her music has a 2000s vibe to it.

Ingram gonna ball out this season with Glorilla courtside.

Considering her recent trouble with the law was marijuana possession in her own home...she will love spending time in Toronto.
