I get Glen Rice vibes from Fleming on how he scores. Better defender than Rice too.

But can he shoot like Rice? Top 5 pick if so.

no one has him top 5 so i’d say no. i’m thinking like dorian finney smith

Is it just me or are Carter Bryant and Rasheer Fleming not being ranked high enough on mocks? After dropping to 9, if Khaman Maluach is gone, I’d rather go with one of these 2 than some of the other ‘more proven’ talent.

If we can get an OG replacement from this draft, that’s a win for me.

I'm thinking a mix of Jalen Duren and Rashard Lewis.

They have the measurements and skills/styles to potentially be very good role players, but there's not a lot of evidence they have much of a chance of being anything more than that.

If Toronto picked him at 9th I would not complain.

The main issue with Sorber is that he fails to show up against better competition.

Oh yeah, how so? I haven't followed that closely but I got the feeling he showed up on the radar late to the party. Him getting injured didn't help.

People that do mock drafts just need to stick to big boards and stop trying to think like a GM. Some of those trade proposals made my eyes bleed

I checked because you mentioned it and right of the bat I see KD to the Pelicans. LOL

edit: plus no 76ers ideas. why mention trade ideas and not mention Philadelphia.

edit ii:

Rockets Receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Pat Connaughton

Bucks Receive: No. 10, Alperen Şengün, Reed Sheppard, Cam Whitmore, Jock Landale, a 2027 first-round pick (via PHO) and a 2028 first-round pick

that seems like a good trade offer imo. Bucks would have to think long and hard about that.

edit iii:

Spurs Receive: Sam Hauser

Celtics Receive: No. 14 and Malaki Branham

author is clearly a Celtics fan. haha

for some reason I feel extremely confident the pick will be Carter Bryant.

Screams perfect Masai-ish player with additional ceiling to dream on.

- Elite Wing Size and athleticism
- Elite Defense
- Good shooter
- Realistic long term path towards OG 2.0
-Enough elite tools to one day possible become elite NBA wing if everything clicked.

Whats his highest ceiling outcome? poor man's Jayson Tatum?

Or nothing close to that?

How was he in high school?

That's maybe his 99.9th% percentile outcome. He is in the OG mold. He hasn't shown any creation abilities and is a pure 3+D guy.

PJ Tucker is a decent comparison.

The mission should be trade for a second pick.

That consolidation trade should be for another mid 1st round pick where this draft has value.

I was thinking the same initially but have you watched his tape/film?

now I see why Vecenie was raving about him in his last mock draft pod.

The tape looks more "played within himself on only 18 mins freshman" then destined for role player.

Very intriguing flashes, movement, shooting, elite defence.

Will not be surprised if he ends up sleeper of this draft and possibly a star one day (every draft has them) and his elite defence will keep him on the floor.

Almost all draft feedback is "love this kids game" with minimal negatives..

could be for a good reason when looking back in a few yrs.

Is anyone on the "Queen is a star" bandwagon?

and see how he fits on defence in the NBA and with our core specifically?

He's the one shot creating/initiator who atleast has a shot at slipping to 9.

before the dreams were of Tre Johnson, which are dead.
