That's a weak hesitation move. Didn't sell it good enough with the shoulders to create space with the stutter step.

I noticed that too. They keep passing the ball directly in the defender's path.

And JV gets double double. 11pts/10 reb so far.

Jonas needs to take that open foul line jumper. He keeps passing up those baby jumpers for the drive.

And again. Wide open FT line jumper, yet JV decide to drive resulting in turnover. Just take it damn!

Dude with the Shrek mask looks exhausted. This game was a headache.

LTU's interior play is really bad

exactly JV has that jumpshot but because he got stronger he thinks everything has to be done with force

I think he really wants to focus on using his strength and get comfortable with using it. We know he can knock down the jumpshot and I expect him to use it when the NBA season starts.

Yup, its infuriating. I think LTU shackled his confidence and its for the worse. He is afraid to take that shot, instead takes the worse option.

I agree. I think it's amazing that he can hold back easy shots for the sake of honing other skills. Shows incredible discipline.

His thinking is backwards. If he wants to drive he needs to show the defense that he can drain those short jumpers forcing them to creep up towards him crowding his dribble and when they do that's when he can use his explosiveness to beat them off the dribble. He's not thinking out there and drawing a map of what he wants to do.

I don't think it as much as honing another skill as having less confidence in that shot.

Maybe the coach told him no jumpshots.

JV really needs a rest. i dont think these games are doing anything for him - skill or confidence wise. The coach is worse than any international coach and his teammates are unable to deliver him the ball in the post. the entire offence should be run through him. 0 AST?? wtf

I'm watching Serbia vs. Macedonia. I've noticed that Krisitc gets the ball cleanly in the post because he uses his body very well. He squats, almost like a goalie, to seal off his defender and do so cleanly without drawing a foul.

JV really needs to get lower in the post, same for D-Mo.
