I highly doubt they'd be willing to give us essentially 3 draft picks for Landry Fields and DD lol

Edit: Plus OKC can't take back $15 Mill in contracts and give up just $2Mill.

They could add Perkins and instead of Fields we could add in Novak.

Raps get: Lamb, 2014 first round (Dal), 2014 first round (OKC)
OKC get: DeRozan, Landry Fields and 2014 2nd round pick

For the raps, we are tanking so we get 2 picks in a deep draft and a young player with potential in Lamb... We also get rid of Landry fields horrible contract, and we get rid of DeRozan to help our tankin efforts......

For OKC they get DeRozan who is improving very well yearly, and putting up close to all-star stas, he can be like their new James Harden, this will help them get ahead of the other competitors and can help them win a championship.. They lose 2 deep picks, which is not very valuable to them as they are not rebuilding...

Would do you guys think?

Not bad but I wouldn't do it. The Dallas pick is protected 1-20 and the OKC pick will be even worse than that. Despite being a strong draft, picks in that range can be crapshoots, which means there's the very real possibility that you gave up DD and fields for Lamb. I feel like if we're giving up DD, a top 15 pick should be part of the package coming back.

I wouldn't take the Amico Lamb report very seriously... they are 16-4 and his 3pt spacing role is perfect for them, plus Reggie Jackson is doing great in the creator off the bench role. I don't see it.

I guess for an OKC deal something like this might work

OKC trades Perry Jones III, Hasheem Thabeet, Ryan Gomes

TOR trades Tyler Hansbrough

OKC may put value on getting one more productive body up front, especially with Collison not producing very well this year.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

With all this talk about these prospects would anyone consider the following:

Wiggins - Raptors #1 pick
Ebid - #4 pick for Val + 2015 top 5 protected pick
Smart - #6 pick for Demar + New York 2016 pick + second 2014 pick from another trade (top 20)

This is assuming Val improves from this point till the end of the season with 12-10-2 averages and shows good potential along with Demar averaging 24/5/3 on good percentages and is pcked for the all-star even with a subpar team record.

I know much change from now till the end of the season but if all ends well and we are offered these deals would we go for it?

Lets assume Lowry + Hansbrough and some of our other expirings get us another top 20 pick ie the Bobcats pick from the Bulls .

We could accelerate the rebuild and go into next season with the following:

Ebid/Hayes
Amir/Patterson/Novak
Wiggins/Fields
Ross/
Smart/Vasquez/Stone/Bycks

We would massive cap space and 3 blue chip prospects along with our 3+D guys in Ross and glue guy in Amir. Use the cap space wisely on picking up good young players this year and go all out next year after developing the youth.

I'm pretty sure nobody will trade a top 5 pick in this draft.

OKC: Asik + Lowry
HOU: Amir + Ross
TOR: Perkins, Lamb, PJIII & OKC 2014 1st & HOU 2014 1st

OKC gets a solid C and excellent backup PG
HOU dumps Asik & gets great PF in Amir + young pickup in Ross
TOR takes on salary dump but gets 2 young prospects + OKC & HOU 2014 1st rounder

That's probably a bit too much value coming back our way I think and I'm pretty sure OKC is more interested in a wing player rather than point guard, seeing as how they have Reggie Jackson. But overall decent trade and I was thinking along those same lines, maybe trying to acquire Asik from Houston for a package centering around Amir and us getting back their first round pick and the New York second rounder they own. By doing this before December 19, we can show Asik off and still deal him to a contender at the trade deadline.

The word seems to be that Houston aren't looking to dump Asik, they expect real value for him (which they aren't getting here by coupling him with a draft pick for inferior talent)

How about Dd and Vasquez for Dragic and a first rounder?

I hate giving up top 15 scorers, but depending on the pick, that's an interesting trade. IMO Dragic is a really really good fit alongside Val.

I'd even consider something with a 3rd team

Toronto In - Goran Dragic
New York In - Grevais Vasquez
Phoniex In - Iman Shumpart + John Salmons

Phoenix has long been rumored to like Shumpart... Salmons deal also frees up cash for Bledsoe

Those picks are going to be shite. Lamb and PJ3 aren't much better, if at all, than Ross and Amir (not to mention we toss Lowry in as well).

3PT shooter Poindexter is injured for the season for the Grizzlies. Novak/Patterson would fit that role.

from the magic board
LOOOOOL

Lowry is not much if any better than Jameer at this point, a redundant trade IMO. Maybe Vasquez if anything, I think DeRozan could be had, maybe they would do a Hedo/2nd for Demar to clear cap space? Demar can play the 2 or 3, he is paid 9.5 for the next 3 years I believe though, but that only works if Dipo can truly make the transition to the point. It would make a nice guard rotation, maybe even Hedo/Moe/2nd for Derozan/1st, then move Baby for an expiring?

Suns laugh in your face. Dragic is better than DeRozan and has a better contract. Vasquez isn't worth a 1st round pick.

We should just do Lowry for Hinrich, filler contract (such as Teague), and the best 1st rounder that they're willing to give us. Even if it's a lottery protected something, I'd take that and be happy.

You really think Dragic is worth more than Derozan? I'm sure most teams value Derozan a lot more than Dragic.
