I'm really happy to see that the Raptors are the part of the first set of voters to have Sterling removed

That would require the support of three-fourths of the league's owners in a vote. Silver said Tuesday during a news conference that he was confident he had the votes, which appears true given the numerous statements of support that were released by teams.

Minnesota owner Glen Taylor chairs the committee, which also includes Miami's Micky Arison, the Lakers' Jeanie Buss, Oklahoma City's Clay Bennett, New York's James Dolan, Boston's Wyc Grousbeck, San Antonio's Peter Holt, Phoenix's Robert Sarver, Indiana's Herb Simon, and Toronto's Larry Tanenbaum.

This idea was stupid even prior the ban. What about the players? Why would they want to be FA when they have guaranteed contracts. Most will not get equal value in the market. Plus heavy that many FA hurts all players bargaining power. This would be greater punishment on players than Sterling.

Most of the value franchise is not tied to short term earning power. The value comes from longer revenue through market potential and tv contracts.

I think Sterling will go quietly into the night rubbing his fingers together with the ill gained loot he will get on the sale. Paid $12.5 million will get $1 billion buy a Island in a remote part of the world so the natives can worship him until they feed him to the volcano to appease the gods.

Didnt heard N***er once or something to an extend that would blatantly point out he hates blacks. So let me ask you guys a question. What are certain things he said people are so mad about?

- He doesnt want her to associate with black people on instagram?
- He doesnt care if he does anything with those black people?
- He doesnt want the minority people she hangs out with at the game seen with her?

Im all confused. And yes, I am in the minority.. So, im just wondering here.

Anyways, if this guy is banned from the NBA let's treat everyone equally and ban Shaq as well for making fun of disabled man. Fair is fair right

he is basically saying that its "ok' to do business and profit off black people but he doesn't want to advertise tot he world that he associate with black people in his personal life

he brings in girls to the clippers locker room while they are showering and says "look at their amazing bodies" as if they are visiting horses at a farm

he once told elton brand that the money he was offering was more than enough for a black man

he also said he disliked seeing black people attend clipper games

so yeah... i don't see why anyone would think he is a racist

And he can beat the NBA imo. I think a private conversation w/ a golddigger baiting him is sketchy evidence (in the heat of such conversations ppl say absurd things and not reflective of how they act in real life), and as Cuban said, "a slippery slope". His reputation may be ruined but it probably won't hurt his pockets.

That said, looks like cancer is his bigger problem.
