What the hell happened to this team defensively? If anything they should be better this year with the addition of James Johnson, but instead they've fallen apart. With a head coach that focuses on defense, you'd think they wouldn't be so very bad.

What are the odds for Atlanta to win the title because if they are more than 10-1 that's great value and I got $500 I have nothing better to do with.

There's nobody in the West that I look at and think "ATlanta can't beat them". This team is legit.

I never want to hear another argument about how bad JV is on defense. Our guards, including Lowry, have no IQ defensively.

a number of people, including myself predicted Hawks to be a top 4 team..no one predicted them to be this good though

most people/media/analysts forgot about them during the off-season

I find it funny that people actually thought Derozan would be the difference between us struggling and being a top team. Our problem is a team problem, not an individual player problem.

Yeah, but their personnel is much better suited for that system. Even though we have a similar amount of talent, we wouldn't be nearly as successful if we tried to emulate them. They have a prolific shooter, and two bigs that can shoot, pass and handle.

I'm not so sure about that. I think our bigs are better at shooting/passing than people give them credit for. They're just not really used in a capacity to get a rhythm and comfort level.
