At 9-12 where do you stand?

Once that high end talent comes in via the NBA draft, that will/should move the pieces to where they belong.

I love Senior, until he is willing to made adjustments and concede certain duties and his role on the squad, it is going to continue to be unnecessarily painful.

This was basically Jamal Crawford back in the day with the Bulls when he was coming up. Jacking up shats at a high volume because he had the ball in his hands often, yet could not really create and get his mates involved on a consistent basis.

Constant back and forth between Crawford and Head Coach Scott Skiles for a while over his role

Crawford carved out a long career as a sixth man.

Not on the Bulls though. He had to go to the Knicks and lose for a few more years (where he did both start and come of the bench for years) and to then finally get to the Hawks and become a sixth man going forward on winning teams. It took awhile.

Another thing to consider about Fred is he’s going to be 30 years old after next season. Idk if that matters to Masai but it’s worth noting.

Nah.

Senior is 28 already?!?!?!?!?!?

Forgot about Crawford on the Knicks

Edit: Senior turns 28 years of age in February of 2022.

Yeah, after next season (2022-2023) season it’ll be the (2023-2024) season. He turns 30 and likely turns down his player option and becomes an unrestricted free agent.

We basically have him for one more season locked up.

Ah yes.

Next season in 2022-2023 is put up or shut up time with Senior.

Chet Holmgren or Kendall Brown might changes things.

I promise I haven't been longingly thinking about Wenbenyama, Scoot or Sharpe for days on end.

I still like Duren. Develop him into a Bam/Ibaka type and he’s perfect for this team. Younger than any other prospect too

I think Duren goes top 8 for sure. Probably not in our range at 9-12.

Bam did not have anything resembling a J at Kentucky. That man has worked so diligently to add the mid range J to his arsenal.

Outside of Chet, Kendall Brown and Duren are the two other prospects that would be great additions to the Raps.

Then again, I will flip flop tomorrow.

It will be Chet, Jabari and Duren going top 3 (in whatever order you wish). My prediction.

That short highlight of Duren shooting might be the first I've seen him doing anything other than rebound & dunk lol

If he continues to knock down jumpers he'll probably push his name back into the top 5-6 in the draft.

He is going to go top 3. The athleticism, and the mere potential of Duren developing a J will entice a team in the top 3.

Also, Duren is legit the youngest player in the draft (Tied with Nzosa).

That will also figure into where he gets drafted. Potential and upside. So many front office personnel have made their careers or have been canned based on their assessment of potential and upside.

Keegan Murray is likely going to get unfairly hated on because he is currently 21 years old, and will turn 22 in August of 2022 - after the draft.

I would take Keegan if we're in that low lotto range and Mathurin is taken early (bring up Mathurin because he's arguably the best player in our draft range).

22 years old with great scoring ability and we have him under control until he's 29? I would do it IF all the other talented prospects are gone by the time we pick.

I am not going to front, but the Jalen, Jaden, Jabari got me all confused with the names.

Duren below Kendall Brown imo. Think 6 to 8 is his range

Saying Barnes should take more shots and that Fred and Siakam taking up so much of our shot attempts limits the team potential is apparently controversial.
