Question: Zaire Williams measures at 6'9"+ at the combine with a 7'0"+ wingspan. Your thoughts are now what?

He still shot 37% from the field and 29% from 3. Apparently he had a lot of stuff going on this past season, including injuries and losing loved ones. He's a guy whose work outs are really going to determine where he goes. His college numbers really worry me, but maybe it was an aberration.

After watching this video, I like him a lot more than Wagner.

Why do I hate Sengun’s skill set for the modern nba and fit for our team SO much, but still keep getting drawn back in. If I picture a clean slate of a roster, I do see the appeal.

If he stays, I doubt he does better than Ayo did.

I think a lot of his shortcomings had to do with his lack of strength as well. I wonder if NBA strength and conditioning coaches can turn him into what he was supposed to be. It's also necessary to mention that he also had bad shot selection which led to those percentages as well.

Hes crazy productive for a 18 yr old. I believe he will grow into one once he gets his shot goimg and understamd the game better with his passing.
Hes my wild card in this draft

He might be around for one of our second round picks. I'd love to draft this kid and develop him into a nice 3/4 player.

I view him in the same light as BJ Boston. Personally wouldn't touch either one of them in the top 10. While him and Boston have extremely similar numbers, for some reason Boston's numbers really impacted his draft stock, whereas Williams' stock has remained fairly steady in the lottery.

Early on he was projected in the lottery, even top 10 in some mocks. I wonder what happened for him to fall to the point where he can potentially be had in the 2nd round.

Perhaps his numbers tailed off the latter half of the year.

I think the difference is that BJ Boston just sucked without any outside factors to consider. Who knows though, both guys might surprise us or both might be busts.

The problem with Ziaire is his inability to get to the rim and he isnt wiry/fluid enough to navigate around his screens with the ball or without the ball, so his frame really holds him back. I remember scouts had that concern with Ingram but with a an NBA S&T conditioning program, he was able to fill out and now he can snake the PnR and turn the corner on screens. Mind you he moved differently than Ziare did.

BJ can do those things but like he just had a weird season in Kentucky and didnt seem confident. Honestly both are really tough to evaluate. I think those who watched a lot of Ziare on the EYBL summer circuit swear by him. Same thing with BJ Boston. Ziaire, BJ, Moody and Jalen Johnson have been really tough evaluations for me.

Roko and JT Thor are two guys who I firmly believe we'll look back at 3-4 years and think why the hell were they picked so low

I am so conflicted with Kuminga. I was so confident putting him over Green but then I saw more gleague stuff and it was such a mixed bag. To me he has the most boom/bust potential. If there is anything close to the next potential Kawhi that I have seen, it's him

Not according to many mocks. First rounder albeit late first rounder.
